Good option tablet considering the price
Having used Oppo mobiles over the last few years (currently on a Reno 8 5G), I was very interested to try out the tablet. There's quite a few good features on this tablet and very few downsides.Good- excellent battery life- very good/high quality screen- audio quality is good- Android 14 updated to Sep 2024- very little skinning (the usual for Oppo)- bluetooth works well- very good priceNot so good- the only issue I have is that the edges are a little sharp so makes holding the tablet for long periods of time a little uncomfortable. It's quite a hefty unit (being 10") so the weight is expected- older model (2022) so not the latest/speediestThe high screen quality makes this tablet very good for watching movies, and the Dolby Atmos stereo audio is good for sound.NB: this unit does NOT have a cellular modem built-in so you will need to use Wifi/tether to another mobile device. You will be well served by this tablet as long as you're not expecting the latest and greatest.

Great value Android tablet
I needed a new tablet to replace my aging iPad. I couldn't justify the price of a new iPad, especially as I just want it for web browsing and video streaming. The Oppo Pad Air fitted the bill and, so far, it has proved to be an excellent purchase. The screen quality is excellent (as good as an iPad), responsiveness is good and usability, via Oppo's Color OS, very straightforward and smooth. Features, such as split screen, bring Android tablets, such as the Opp pad Air, closer to Apple iPads in terms of functionality albeit at a lower priceMy only gripe with the Oppo Pad Air is the auto Screen Brightness feature. It works fine during the day with the brightness changing to suit the light, but at night and in low light situations, the sensor tends to set the brightness rather low and making the screen quite dark. Switching to manual mode solves the problem and hopefully this feature will improve in future software updates. However, this doesn't distract from the Oppo Pad Air being a really solid low cost Android tablet.

Smooth, fast
I've found this an excellent android tablet. The screen is bright and clear and it has fast reaction times and smooth scrolling. Would definitely recommend it.

Too Cheap!
Pay what you like for a well known brand name. I buy Honor phones which I can attest are better than supposedly equivalent Samsungs. This Oppo for this price lets you watch hd tv with great sound for less than £100 new. Now - if you use your tablet for much more than browsing and tv then I dunno, nor care, your life 😉

Returned product, but perhaps its just me!
Unusually for me, I had to return this product after a very short time of use. Normally I do as much research as I can, but that doesn't really make up for practical use of a product. This is a very nice product, well made and with a good spec and nicely packaged and it comes with a cable and plug.Previously, I had a Samsung 32gb Tablet, which I should never have purchased as there was the constant worry of over filling it with apps, recordings and suchlike, and there was no means of expansion. Well, I wasn't going to fall for that one again, and so I bought this Oppo. Tablet, which my daughter has and with which she is very pleased, but then it is used mainly by my grandson for YouTube and for Games. I repeat: y daughter is delighted with her same Oppo.I had two problems which I could not resolve, even with the aid of various online Helplines, including YouTube. My first problem was that I was unable to transfer to my 64gb SD card, any apps or other hungry items, such as photos. There was never any opportunity of utilising the usual "change" button. My second problem was that I could not set up my Google Home (Nest). Nothing that I did when using Bluetooth could encourage the Tablet to find my Google Nest.I have given fewer stars to 'battery life' and to 'longevity', simply because I haven't had the Tablet for long enough to tell. I wouldn't like this review to put people off because the Tablet is a good price and it is likely that at my age, 80, the problems could have been resolved by someone in their early years!
