Phone works smoothly. Wish there was a way for apps to be stored on SD with Android unrooted. Haven't put the waterproofing to the test, another Sony phone I had did not fare to well.

WOW. So I got to give the seller credit for right out of the box saying "NO WARRANTY". It sets the expectations of risks.But then you get the phone, it powers up, connects to the outside world, and it works great.Inside the shipping box was the phone (NEW), cables (NEW), US Power charger rated for 2.7AMPs (?!?!?! - this is awesome as most chargers are only rated for 1 or 2 amps tops.) and finally a sheet of paper stating... Hey if you run into any issues in the first 30 days, get a hold of us first, we will try to make it right (even to the point of a USPS return label and refund).Obviously buying an international phone poses some risk, but no more than buying one on a business trip or vacation - because trying to obtain warranty service overseas would be a major hassle right?

Awesome phone... Camera is awesome simplistic design... 960fps video is awesome... Some stuff can be better like battery life and screen ratio... Speakers are loud but does not hit high notes without crackling... But unless you're trying to use it as a street boom box system you won't get this issue... But for less than 600 for a premium phone... Rather get this any day than any iphones

UPDATE: So I finally decided to update my review based on a couple of months experience. Sadly my review went from 5 to 2 stars. Phone is still blazing fast, and takes amazing pictures. BUT BEWARE: THE PHONE I RECEIVED FROM SELLER IS DEFECTIVE, and not just a bit. You know those things you don't use right away? Like tethering, you will only use that when you don't have a wifi available, right....or an alarm while you are on a business trip....SO if you are going to buy it, test every functionality right out of the box.Things that don't work:1- Can't share your wifi connection. It will show the icon, but wifi network is not there. You can share via USB cable only.2- No screen mirroring. Using a projector? Sharing to your TV? No, you're not.3- Alarms: if phone is in ALARMS ONLY mode, alarm will not make a sound. Same thing if it's on PRIORITY MODE only.4- Want to type a message while on stamina mode? Well, gather some patience, your keyboard will work just as if your screen was totally damaged, you'll get your message right after a couple of minutes, don't worry.Oh well, I miss the days when you were able to buy a Sony from at Sony.comOLD POST WHEN I GOT IT:Faaast! I have been using Sony Xperia phones ever since the Z. They always lacked the speed of other brands (i.e. turning on the camera and taking a picture is always advertised as fast, but never was, much less reviewing the pictures), well this one finally nailed it! Also very light, amazing processor capacity, pictures, etc.One con, and quite a big one for me: you need to choose between 2 sim cards or 1 sim card and a microsd card. why??? I won't take a star for this because other brands are doing the same, so no need to punish Sony in comparison, but still, first dual sim sony xperia phone I have owned with this awful limitation.Overall, ver happy with my xz1.

I returned it due to light bleed. Very dissapointed so I purchased something different. Also, in the time I did have it, the camera was pretty crappy in lower light. I should have listened to the reviewers.

Great Phone... Compared with Iphone 8 and Sony is better far.... NGP Store accomplished all the expectativs.

No issues, great choice for a unique phone.
