Electrolux137114000 Heating Element for Dryers

This is the second one I've ordered in 6 months. The first one burned out rather quickly so i assumed i had a different issue. After going through the entire machine and not finding any other problems i've decided to buy it again. (this time i bought the warranty). If you are handy with some tools and not afraid to take things apart, then you'll be fine putting this in. While it does seem as if the heating coils are made of cheaper wire than the original, it does seem to do the job when working. I guess we'll see how long this one lasts.To those of you that are debating, this unit costs $50 - $90 and bringing a repair man out will cost you 4 times that because he'll say he has to "reset the computer" or some other crap. Just look up on youtube. It takes about 45 minutes and minimal cursing that it isn't working correctly.

Our heating element connection burned out in the exact same place as another customer review. It broke after only 5 months of use. I would not buy this without buying the extended warranty.

What can I say? It works!Taking your dryer apart? Kind of a pain. A huge pain. But it is still do-able, and it's a whole lot easier than shelling out for a brand new one.This part works as advertised, and I was quite pleased with it. I was less pleased with UPS and Amazon, as they took over a week to deliver a previous model when I selected one-day shipping. However, a few phone calls and chats later, they graciously gave it to me free of charge. Good customer service!

Installed along with a new belt and rear wheels. This product burned off for perhaps 10 minutes as most coils do and was heating perfectly. I installed this in a frigidaire affinity dryer. Perfect fit just like original. Don't forget to continuity test your sensors first before ordering. It's simple and easy to do. I found it easier to take the 2 screws and frame with the old heating element and taking the sensors off via screws and not removing the wiring at all. Black bottom. White top.

This is not a genuine replacement part. This is not an oem part. This is an aftermarket Chinese part.

Worked great. Exact replacement for my failed element. You will need to reuse the old stuff attached to the heater though. Don't throw away the whole unit into you have this one in your hands.

This product was amazing!! Our heat element in our dryer went out. We did some research and found it was cheaper to order this part instead of a repair man. It went in perfectly and now my dryer actually dries things faster.

The product came in a timely fashion and all intact. Was easy replace and has been working great for about a month now. Seems a good deal.
