Very sturdy gate and easy to build once you have the correct height and width desired. The instructions weren’t that helpful to me but luckily I was able to figure it out. Great product and I’m using it to keep my dogs on the deck and preventing them from going into the yard unsupervised. Would highly recommend this product.

Bought this to add a more permanent and safe gate to our pool deck. it looks great and does the job but the directions as others have said were definitely lacking. Once my husband finally figured it out with help from a YouTube video from another user, building and installing the gate was much easier. Love the fact that with 2 cuts it was able to fit perfectly in our non-standard opening. Feels very sturdy and secure, definitely gives me peace of mind with small children and a pool. My 4.5 year old will not be able to climb over it (we will be adding additional lock for safety) or push through it and overall compared to what I previously looked at other Home stores This is a great value for what you get.

Great gate, hinges let gate sag too much.

Lightweight but amazingly sturdy. NO sag, and it is a breeze to custom fit. Really happy with this product. It was super easy to custom fit this in a smaller opening. Just make sure you have a chop saw with a metal blade. A hacksaw will work but its a breeze with the chop saw. And it makes perfect cuts.

Bought this gate to enclose my rooftop deck. The aluminum is good quality and feels very sturdy. The powder coat paint has a nice finish and looks professional. The assembly is easy if you watch the demonstration video, however the self tapping screws that come with the kit can easily strip. I ended up using stainless steel hex head screws. Make sure to predrill the self tapping screws otherwise they will definitely strip. I used a miter saw to cut to my fit. However a hack saw could be used with some difficulty/extra effort. The gate is 42” tall once assembled. The gate does not come with hinges or latch.

Material is good quality, except the self-tapping screws are too soft and the square-drive head will strip out unless you first drill a large pilot hole, the size of the cutting part of the shaft.. Also the instruction "subtract 6-1/2" from the gate opening width to cut the rails is allowing about 2 inches of clearance for the hinges and latch. So if you want the gate to fill the gate opening with less of a gap, depending on the hinges and latch you will use, put the pieces together without fastening them and measure what lesser dimension to subtract and cut from the rails. Also, the upright pieces should be slid into the top and bottom rails from the side before you fasten the rails to the side post. Or at least before you put the spacer pieces in. The fit is too tight otherwise. I used a rubber mallet to pop the spacers in place after the uprights were in position.

Bought this gate door to keep the dogs from running down our deck steps when they are out with us, it was very simple to install and looks great and matches our existing deck railing. It is made very well all the hardware is of good quality. Overall very happy.
