I love face serums and this particular brand has quickly become one of my favorites. I was a little unsure about the scent at first, but I have become accustomed to it and I really like it. It is not a strong scent at all. It is a bit early and herbal, but totally natural and no synthetic perfume which is important to me.It feels wonderful on my skin! It feels like I am giving my skin a treatment of food that is total nourishment. It soaks in really well and my skin feel bright and moisturized without being greasy at all. It is a beautiful yellow-orange color.It has some absolutely wonderful ingredients and it smells and feels really fresh.I also love the minimalistic packaging. So many face product I’ve tried are overpackaged, so it is really nice to get a lovely product that is in a simple glass dropper bottle.A little bit goes along way and I feel like it is very well priced for the amazing array of healthy ingredients. My new Fav!!!

I've been using the Luminous Moisturizer from Round Barn Apothecary and have been really happy with it. So, I was excited to give this Luminous Oil a try.I, above all else, look for clean ingredients when purchasing makeup and skincare. I added this Luminous Oil to my morning and evening skincare routines, after cleansing and before moisturizing. This oil has a light texture that does feel greasy initially but absorbs quickly, allowing it to layer nicely with my other skincare and makeup products. It leaves my skin feeling plump and nourished.The only gripe that I have about this facial oil is that the second ingredient is sunflower oil. I would prefer to see this left out of the ingredient list for a higher quality oil. Otherwise, a quality oil from Round Barn Apothecary.

I received this face serum through the Amazon Vine Voice program.The description of how this serum performs is pretty accurate. It has a nice line up of skin friendly and nourishing ingredients. It isn't greasy, it does absorb well, it does perform well with a moisturizer over it, and overall I am pleased with this one.BUT, a few issues. The ingredients on the bottle are in a ridiculously tiny font that cannot be read. There is NO clear marking of shelf life or expiry date. I would prefer the seller include a proper package presentation with a box, an expiration date, ingredients that can be read, and for goodness sakes put the **full** ingredients in the description of the Amazon sale page.Therefore, I have no idea how long this product is safe to use without an expiration date stamp. I would not repurchase this item.

Round Barn Apothecary Brightening Serum is thick and concentrated. Very little is needed to completely cover my face. Ironically, I got both the firming serum and this one and this is the one that feels firming on my skin. It tightens my pores and feels a little tight. It has good ingredients in it to give my face a little glow. I use it then apply my usual facial moisturizer over it to alleviate the tight feeling it gives my skin. Once I do that, I do see a little bit of brightening. Continued use will tell what my ultimate results will be but I do like this one. It's pricey so, unless I see more visible results, I probably won't purchase more. I have high hopes for it though because the ingredients are proven to brighten skin and it is so thick and concentrated that one bottle will last quite a long time, bringing down the price per application. I will update after a few months of use if I see more noticeable results and continue to buy this serum.
