Amazing watch for people who want to casually improve their health
I absolutely love this watch! It's very comfortable to wear. I love the challenges Garmin has - giving me some extra motivation each month to walk and exercise. I'm having some issues with my off-brand bands, so my watch has unfortunately fallen off a number of times BUT not a single scratch on it! It's very durable. And the band it came with works perfectly too. Honestly, this was worth every penny I spent on it. I do wish it came in other colors, but the dark grey is close enough to black that if you switch out the band it can be styled to your liking. Also the battery is amazing. I went on a 17 day vacation and I only had to charge it once toward the end of my trip (Around day 12). I also love the find my phone feature! Note: The Venue Sq 2 does not have every Garmin setting for workouts. For example, it doesn't have the hiking workout. I usually use the Walk one because it tracks all the same things but you can't participate in certain challenges if you don't have the specific workout. I have learned it's very easy to change the name of the workout for your own record keeping. The Garmin app is really nice for all that.

Great Standard Smartwatch That's Survived A Lot
I bought this forever ago and it's still running strong. I've dropped it on concrete in job sites and sweated all over it, it stands up. Looks beautiful and has lots of watch faces available. The counts all seem accurate, I like the steps have an option to gradually step you up and down in your daily goals, you can also get congratulated for doing things like double your step goals on very busy days. Pretty standard fitness watch that I think is a great deal, it's lasted longer than all of my FitBits put together. I did not like the band that it came with, I bought this forever ago and threw out the original but I believe it was a weird silicone. There's plenty of additional bands available on Amazon if you don't like the default one though and it's easy to change.

Love the battery life
Love this watch. Super durable, easy to navigate and read the screen. Accurate heart rate monitoring. I run, lift, swim, yoga, play sports etc and it can track it. Love that during lifting sessions it can track my reps and provide rest times. People often mistake it for an Apple Watch. Emergency contacting is great. Battery life lasts me about 6 days with GPS use and 10 days for casual day to day.

Good fitness/exercise watch, but the screen scratches easily
I really like this watch. I like the way it looks, I like the way the buttons feel when you click them, I like the battery life. I bought the little silicone covers that prevent sweat from getting into the charging pins. I definitely recommend getting a pack of those. I think the bezel is a little large, but it doesn't take away from the watch's great display. Garmin's software is pretty good too. Garmin Connect makes it easy to track my weight, hydration, sleep, and exercise. I have used the walking, running, treadmill running, cycling, and weightlifting modes. All of them provide good metrics to help you track your performance in real time. One thing I do not like is how easy it is to scratch the watch face. In the first day or two I already had several micro scratches. I bought two screen protectors but they drastically lower the responsiveness of the touch screen and if you get any water under the covers, like if you're sweating, swimming, or even just washing your hands, then the touch screen becomes very wonky. Overall I like it, but I wouldn't recommend it to a friend until they are fully informed about the display.

Best square smartwatch out there
I’ve only had this watch for about a month, but I love it! The watch band is grippy/rubbery on the outside, but smooth and comfortable on the inside where it touches my skin. The battery life is amazing! I can easily go a week between charges. I customized a free watch face to get exactly the data I care about to be shown. It’s a big upgrade from my FitBit and fits my needs better than an Apple Watch.

Solid every day watch
I've been using this watch every day since I’ve got it and it's been super helpful. The 12-day battery life is insane, and being able to download different apps and get all my notifications right on my wrist is useful. Also, the fact that I can go swimming not only in pools but also at the beach and get my swimming recorded is another big plus. That said, the exercise tracking is a little meh. There isn't the widest selection of apps to choose from, and I've found the GPS tracking to be pretty spotty at times. That said it’s a solid, reliable watch for basic daily use, but if you’re a serious athlete who needs perfect tracking, it might fall a bit short. I would also recommend buying an extra watch strap because in my opinion, the silicone band is not the most comfortable thing to be wearing on your wrist all day.

Two months in and still going strong
I've had this watch for about two months now, and it's given me everything I could have hoped for and far more. I'd done my research and narrowed my options down to this and a few others. This comes fully loaded with more options and apps than I currently need, primarily the gym workout stuff, but everything else is perfect. It's great at keeping track of my pulse throughout the day, allowing me to check and compare across days, weeks, or months at a time. I'm also keeping an eye on sleep quality, which it tracks as well. It's lightweight and looks and feels quite snazzy, and you can change the clock face from a pre-loaded assortment of (frankly too many) options to choose from. One small issue - which is minor, and I believe fairly common from someone my age - is that it did not come with a hardcopy instruction book. It did come with a downloadable PDF, but I like to have the instructions in my hand, especially given the thousand or so things this particular watch is capable of. Great fitness watch.

Great watch, sleep cycle not accurate
I was wearing a Fitbit and was worried about changing to a garmin. I like this watch, I would like the sleep mode to be more sensitive, it does not always recognize actual sleep so the sleep cycle is not totally correct. The fit bit is more sensitive. Other than that it is a great watch
