Game Changer For Me
The hand warmers work perfectly for me! I have problems, keeping my hands warm, especially in the winter months. I put these on every evening for a quick warming session.

Great Item
They work as described and feel really good on my arthritic hands. The higher setting gets very hot as other reviewers mention. Instead of gloves I bought thin cotton socks from the dollar store and when I wear them it isnโt too hot. You can also heat it up on hot then turn it down while wearing. If I use lotion my hands feel extra soft after.

Another option for Reynaud's sufferers. 25/50 watt heat output.
I have Reynaud's pretty bad. All it takes is a 10-15 degree drop in temperature to make my fingers g white. I have all sorts of portable handwarmers. They only warm the parts of the hands that are touching the warmer. These mitts wrap heat all the way around the hand. On low they run at 25W total (12.5W per hand). On high they run 50W total (25W per hand). I could use more, but if I let them preheat for a few minutes they will thaw me out pretty quickly. In contrast, the large portable electric handwarmers run about 10W each, and the refillable warmers run as high as 20W. Isn't it strange that none of the manufacturers of those products specify the heat output? It is the most important parameter when buying a hand heater. As mentioned in other reviews, the Mitts are vinyl inside and out. I agree that they need cloth covers. They also lose a lot of heat to the outside, so better external insulation would be good as well. You can compensate for this by holding them palm to palm while wearing them. That way there is no heat loss from one side of each mitt. Overall I like them, especially for the $18 price. It gives me a quick way to thaw my hands when I am in the workshop.
