The bag is made pretty durably and has an understated style. It is surprisingly spacious with the typical dividers and padding you see with most bags.Like I said in the title, I have a couple issues with the strap. First, the webbing that holds the strap to the bag is fed through a D-ring. With a heavier load, that D-ring will shift and turn within the strap and the anchor loop. Also, the metal barrel on the hardware is something that scratched the paint on my car when it slide off my shoulder…yes, that’s on me, but that barrel isn’t really finished and dug right into the paint….so, careful.

Kid loved it, good size for school stuff

My first day out with the bag was to a friend's for a crafty day. I stopped by the yarn store on my way down. I fit my mini-laptop, my tablet, my project notebook, and six skeins of yarn, plus various pens, knitting needles, and crochet hooks. And I still had room. Bonus: I could reach everything!It has zipper pockets on the back and the outside of the flap. A second zipper section under the flap with partitions for pens and things. Plus pockets. I stuck my new beads and stitch markers there. The interior has a padded pocket for laptops, and a very spacious main space. That main space was where the six skeins of yarn went. If I were to stay at home, I could see it as a yarn holder for a multicolor project.Nice bonus: all the zippers are covered, which means they're protected from the elements as well as wear and tear. Excellent value for the price.
