Online products like this are a gamble. This one paid off. This two piece "tumbler" glass set came in a fancy box (that my wife intends to repurpose come the holidays), and was very securely packed for being fragile glass. But don't let the word fragile sink in. These are of sturdy geometry. I mean, yeah they'll break if dropped or thrown at the neighborhood meatball speeding down the street. But they're kinda meaty for lowballs. Somehow from the "stylish" twisted contours you get a noticeable good grip when you handle these. Only downside is they don't stack. Which isn't really an issue for me, but I could understand where it could be for many. So yeah. These serve the purpose. Feel fancy and sturdy at the same time. I'm happy. I use one for my Metamucil in the morning. One for my Jameson in the evening. Wish I could find matching tall boys.

Big sturdy glasses with fun design.

Ok, these are big, so they are sturdy. Clearly molded glass, not elegant in my opinion and the color was slightly off/cloudy. Returned.

Bought for my husband’s 50th birthday and we couldn’t be happier.

These handsome tumblers are a bit different from the usual cylindrical Old Fashioned glasses. The twist near the base felt funny to me at first, but I quickly adjusted. Now I really like the grip they provide, with slots for the thumb on one side of the glass and the middle finger on the other.They have a nice heft, and are very solid, not delicate. The rim of the glass, at a full 4mm thick, feels especially good on the lips. They won't make your drink taste any different, but they're a joy to hold.The manufacturer's description says that these are good not only for Old Fashioneds, but also for other beverages, including Bourbon and Lagavulin scotch. Really? Not Glenlivet? Or Laphroig? I figured you could put any scotch you like in there, and I can report that I poured Dewars in mine and it worked just fine.These are fine cocktail glasses. I'm very happy with them.

Well packaged, glasses came without issue. They are handsomely made glasses. Sleek design with a some weight to them. They had stickers on each, that were easily removed without residue. I say that because often times the stickers on glasses are hard to remove cleanly. They are well made addition to any home bar area. I am extremely happy with this order & would definitely recommend. I do think they would make a nice gift, although they are well boxed, I don’t necessarily think box gift set though. I look forward to using these attractive glasses with family & friends for years to come.

I decided to give this a try just for the shape -- something a little different on the shelf.Their weight has a nice, substantial feel. I can't imagine they will chip easily in use, or in washing.The twisting shape does add a little interest, both to the look and the feel in your hand, without going overboard and feeling . . . undignified.The glass is clear, and it's smooth and even on the inside -- the outside shape doesn't mar drinkability.I can't really find any faults with the glasses. I'm giving them 4 rather than 5 stars because there isn't that extra someting to make you say "wow."Nice glasses with a little interesting difference to them.
