use Clarin for many years but Amazon send me the wrong one and smell is different and different ingredientsI keep it because I never tried this one before don’t have a good smell like the one I use before . In this case, here is a true skin-saver!So, when I microneedle too much or use too much retinoid-based products, my skin can become dry, irritated, and peeling. And, then, here comes Clarins Santal Face Treatment Oil to the rescue! The dropper system ensures a clean product to the last drop. And, the formula is great for calming skin that needs a little break from more "rigorous" products.I warm a few drops in my palm and then apply (avoiding the eyes since this will migrate to contact lenses like all oils). It absorbs as well as you would expect for an oil. And, then, throughout the day, I just add a little more where needed (often on my cheeks). It is such an effortless way to make up for my overzealousness!When using this, you want to employ the tried-and-true formula: the sequence is toner, essence, serum, moisturizer, oil. Go from lightest to heaviest to ensure full effect! And this interacts really well with other Clarins products! Amazing!An effective, easy-to-use oil! Love it!

Smells good but a little strong. It is thick when you put it on but that is to be expected. In a couple of hours - there is no evidence it was ever there and no improvement of my skin texture or moisture level.

This Clarins Santal Face Treatment Oil is a natural yellow in color and absorbs cleanly with a smooth, satin-feeling finish. It comes in a clear glass bottle. It's best to store it in a dark drawer or cabinet when you're not using it, out of direct sunlight, to prevent oxidation damage to the product. The eyedropper dispenses well. It has a floral scent.On the potential drawback side, the ingredients contain both fragrance and several plant essential oils, which smell good but can potentially be irritating for those with sensitive skin. Also, sandalwood oil can be potentially comedogenic, and face oils should be used with caution for those with acne-prone skin.It's made in France. The bottle comes well sealed, but there isn't a PAO or expiration date marked on the bottle or the outer box. I've been using this face oil for a little while (two weeks, maybe?) and I like it. It's definitely expensive, but it's a luxury brand. Do not use it around your eyes, it says on the packaging. I don't like that, because I generally prefer products to be able to be used around my eyes (because I can forget, and it's safer that way).I like the scent, it's sandalwood and lavender, I believe. I showed it to my mom and my sibling for them to try, and they both hate the scent and refuse to use it. My sibling even said it made them feel sick, but they have sensory issues relating to nausea and migraines, so it may be a rare response.The scent doesn't last a super long time on my skin, and I wouldn't consider it really strong, but it's not subtle either.I, personally, use 4-5 drops on my face after a toner or a light serum, and then apply a moisturizer on top. I'm not sure if that's how it works best, but that's generally how I use oils. It does make my skin feel nice.I don't think it's a miracle product by any means, and there's definitely cheaper options out there, but if you're looking for a luxury oil (and don't mind the scent), I think it's nice!

Utilizzo 2 gocce di questo olio per arricchire le creme. Ha un odore rilassante e un’azione nutriente e lenitiva. Ottimo!

Huile santal, formato 30 ml, se usato con il metodo clarins, due tre gocce prima riscaldato tra le mani e poi tamponato sul viso (io lo uso su pelle leggermente umida) l olio viene assorbito molto bene, io soffro di rosacea e con l uso regolare tratta molto bene i rossori e rende la pelle compatta, di inverno si può usare sotto la crema idratante per proteggere la pelle dal freddo, il profumo è avvolgente ma non fastidioso, l huile orchidea blu lo trovo molto più persistente, il profumo è comunque molto soggettivo, lo trovo un buon prodotto e dovendone usare poche gocce, il rapporto qualità prezzo è buono, l olio dura a lungo.
