Decent world building
This author does a decent job of world building. These books are really short so they seem fast paced but I don’t always find that to be a plus. There are a lot of missed opportunities for elaboration. I also wish we saw more than just Minas POV. That would probably make these books longer. Because we get to know her so much but hardly get to know the guys at all. I’ve read the second book but not the 3rd because it isn’t included in KU. And I’m sorry. I don’t like to pay $5 for a book that’s so short. Hopefully we get to know the guys better in book 3 though it’s not likely. This author does have my interest peeked so I’ll be looking out for the final book to become available on KU or her other works.

Well, that was a surprise!
Somehow I missed the reverse haremaspect prior to reading. Lol. It becomes pretty clear soon enough that Mina is going to be a very busy girl. (Smirks)Sexy and intriguing, Sacrifice definitely has my attention. (Runs to grab Heir)

Good SPICY Read
I really enjoyed this series.I read a lot of reviews for this book, because I liked the auther and the books were relatively short, I gave it a try. A lot of people were mad it jumped straight into the spicy. I beg to differ. 3 books, good story line. First book is hot and heavy almost the entire time. 2nd book less, 3rd book less. If you want to start with character details and development before spicy scenes, this isn't the read for you.

What a rollercoaster!
I wasn't sure what to expect with Sacrifice and this was a bit bananas but also really enjoyable! Please check the content warnings, especially for dubious consent which might not be to every reader's taste. The story is told completely from Mina's POV and it's really more a happy for now because this story is not over. While it ends with a soft cliffhanger, the characters have accomplished their goal and set their next steps so there's no huge event left hanging. I really liked Mina's spirit and her refusal to give up even under the terrible circumstances. As a half-vampire, half-human she's been treated like a slave by her own father and she knows very little about the human world which her colony has isolated itself from.Mina's experience with each of the love interests is very different and it was quite the rollercoaster to see things develop first with just Mina and Malachi and then add in Wolf and eventually Rylan toward the end. Malchai was probably my favorite of the heroes because he genuinely seems to care for Mina. Wolf is more of a feral and chaotic vampire but it's obvious he's intrigued by Mina. While I found the threesome scenes with Mina, Malachi and Wolf to be off the charts steamy, I actually found the one scene with all four to be a bit lacking. This is partly because there's a particular goal in mind for that scene and it's more about unleashing Mina's power rather than enjoyment (though they all certainly enjoy it). Rylan's involvement was also more out of necessity than interest. He doesn't trust Mina and sees her more as a tool to help Malachi escape the blood ward but I'm assuming we'll start to see more of an emotional development in the next book. This book won't be for every one but if you like sexy vampires, a bit of taboo, and polyamorous relationships then you might like this one.

Hot and unexpected and addictive!
GOODNESS GRACIOUS and HOLY MOLY and everything in between! This book is EPIC!Stop the presses, drop whatever it is that you're doing, and get ready to hunker down and sink your teeth into this delicious release by Katee Robert! Sacrifice is everything I needed in a vampire book with multiple partners, and I cannot wait to see where the next one takes us!Between Malachi, Wolf, and Rylan, we have three very different yet equally delicious vamps and their intricate past shared history has me hungry for more. And there's Mina! She's fascinating and fierce and feisty and I love seeing her come into her own!So, long story short, grab this book, devour it, and be ready to deal with a cliffhanger that will have you desperate for the next book! I promise it is thoroughly worth it!

Unexpectedly good.
For a quick read this book was very unexpectedly good. Enough spice to last for days and enough plot and mystery to keep me interested. Definitely didnt think this was were it was going but i enjoyed it.

Too much, too fast and still nothing
This series has potential. Maybe it’s because of the way it ended, I feel like this story is incomplete and lacking. Here we have Mina, a sort of hybrid, halfling?, who is sent off to be some sort of martyr in the name of her father’s bloodline. Get knocked up or literally die trying. Then we meet her new jailer, Malachi, and learn nothing other than he’s been in his house for 25+ years without blood? Not starving to death, but still starving in his decaying/rotting home. The list goes on and on. We meet someone and learn nothing new. We also don’t know what happened to Mina’s mom, why her father is so evil, why Malachi is/was trapped, how did those guys get together in the first place? If Wolf and Ryland came come and go.. why not bring the other blood or animals or something for sustenance? If you think about it, we weren’t really told what a dhampair is either. It’s just implied. What exactly is a blood ward? How come that house didn’t have a library for Mina to learn something?

Fast Paced, Spicy, Quick Read
It was just over 100 pages so if you looking for a shot spicy quick read it absolutely perfect. It is the 1 of (I believe a 3 book series).Honestly, I'm always impressed when authors can jump into a new world so quickly. The way it's written leaves a lot to mystery, characters, and world the like, but it's not in that 'it's mysterious because it's not well thought out' way.The smutt was great. Like great And it was my first Reverse harem read, but I didn't find it too jarring even though it was a fast paced read. It was better than I hoped, and I invested in her other series because of it (Villains).Amazing job 👌

Absolutely Incredible!
This was my first Katee Robert book and I was not exactly sure what to expect but... wow! It was amazing. Sacrifice was enchantingly dark and I honestly could not put it down. I am a huge fan of vampires and it was this that drew my to read this book first out of all of Katee's incredible sounding backlist. and I have to say this was just a fantastic vampire book. It was hot! hot! hot!!I immediately picked up the next book in the series (as well as ordered several more of Katee's books). And I cannot wait until I can get my hands on the last book in the Bloodline Vampire series.I loved Katee's writing style, it was really engaging and despite the fact that this was a short read the worldbuilding was amazing. I loved Mina so much and the rest of the characters were really interesting. The bleak world was really intriguing and made a great backdrop for the emerging harem. I need to know what happens next!!I would definitely recommend if you are a fan of darker RH books and vampires - make sure to check out the CWs.

Refreshing
Nobody writes steam like Katee Robert! This is the story of Mina, the sacrifice, who has dealt with a lot of crap only to end up in a gothic mansion with a starving vampire. The book is fast paced, the characters are great and the steam is real. This is a poly/RH, so be prepared for multiple partners. If blood play and some light dub con is not for you, steer clear. Excellent read, I can’t wait for the next instalment.

Interesting
Thought I’d check this out as I do enjoy reading books by KR. It didn’t disappoint just took a little longer to get me in, longer than other KR books anyway.Looking forward to reading about the rest of Mina’s journey.

Omg wow
This is the first I have read from this author. I literally could not and did not put this down. I wasn’t so sure about the FMC at first, her inner dialogue annoyed me. But I got there, I reminded myself she has good reason for her district and negative thinking. She grew on me in the end though. I enjoyed how quickly the story progressed too. Super spicy as well, which helps. Do yourself a favour, read this.
