Great. Easy to get up, pretty easy to take down... needs a bigger bag, takes a little work to get it back into the bag. I bought this primarily so the baby had somewhere to be. I will say, in our FL sun, I still had to put towels over the tent to shade the powerful sun rays... so the material could stand to be thicker for FL sun anyways, went right through the material! It’s definitely more like a 2-3 adult size tent, I’d say more like 2 <200lb adults and 1 <10 year old child could sit comfortably, that’s with no bulky chairs. Seemed solid, didn’t blow in the breeze. The stakes were nice, also has 4 sand pockets to hold it down, so that is nice as well. Also having the extra material come out of the front was a nice feature. It did offer a lot of privacy which is also another great feature. Overall happy with the purchase!

This tent is as-described for the most part, although the image makes it look sturdier than it is in reality. I have no complaints except that it probably cost less than $6 to make and cost me over 10x that. I maybe shouldn't have taken off a star for that, but I guess I'm tired of getting "ripped off", although it is not the seller or even the manufacturer's fault in this case. But I'm taking a star off anyway. It functions as it should, but is not constructed of the materials I would expect for the price.

This is a good shelter and it sets up with no problem. Simple and easy and fast set up!! BUT BEWARE!! Taking this baby down, especially as there were no take down instructions included, was an exercise in frustration. If my husband wasn't there to squeeze the top spring, I don't know that my arthrictic hands could have managed it. With no instructions, and the hand strength needed to collapse it, I'm giving it a 4.

I was looking for something to bring to the beach that would function like a beach umbrella, and I was very excited when I found this beach tent. It is perfect for providing shade on the beach or anywhere else outdoors and will stay in place better than a standard umbrella. This tent was surprisingly simple to assemble and was a big hit with my entire family. The color is closer to a bright pink than purple but it is still nice in person.

This is exactly what we wanted. Easy up and down. I do agree you should have two people help to make it open in a flash. Both of our large chairs fit in and we had room for all of our stuff. You can't go wrong with this purchase. it's an excellent Tent.

Well we finally go to one of these! We have been wanting something where the younger kids could play outside but still have shade from being in the direct sun and something like this is excatly what we needed but even better. I didn’t just want it for playing in the backyard but also for outside sporting events and camping.The material is the same as a tent minus the thickness on the main shelter part. For this reason I am not sure it is waterproof. The bottom portion is a durable tarp like material like you would have on a tent as well. The listing calls the color purple but the color on the screen is more true to the color and really should be labeled as fushia.What sets this apart from other products similar to this is that the extended floor mat zips up to create a door and thus give it full closure to use as a changing room which will be great for our large family camping and would also be great for those that use it a the beach. I also really like that it has pockets on the outside to fill with sand at the beach. Since we don’t entend on going to a beach anytime so the included stakes do the trick for us.Last but not least are the velcro windows. They help with ventilation when it is closed up but still have the privacy factor.Set up was easy with just taking it out of the bad and unrolling itm straightening the poles and pushing the center locking ring at the top down. Take down was just as easy just doing these steps in reverse. You do not have to thread the poles like a normal tent. Everything is attached although I did have to put one pole end back in its holder before setting it up.Rolling it to fit in the bag was a little challenging and the tent only had one set of ties attached. When I opened the bag for the first time it seemed like a random piece of white fabric (see pictures) was meant to be the other tie but when I went to use it after rolling it up myself it didn’t seem long enough to the thickness of the roll. Keep in mind I hurriedly rolled this up and did not take my time to do it so that could be part of my problem but I also don’t think that I would have to try multiple times either to get it to fit. For this reason I am giving this a 4 out of 5 stars. If the bad was maybe an inch bigger around and another inch or two longer so it didn’t feel like it was going to bust the seams than I would have definitely given this 5 stars hands down.Also this is a little more pricey than others but the cheaper ones don’t appear to have the true pop-up feature that this once does as well as not having a zip up “door" for suing as a changing room. Others that do have both these features are another $20 so in the end it appears that the price is right.

I purchased this tent for shade at the beach for my infant. The very first time I used it, I noticed one of the joints of the legs was damaged. Because of this, the whole thing kept collapsing every time there was a slight breeze. Obviously, I couldn't let my 4 month old lay in a tent that was going to cave in on her, even though it is super light weight. I ended up throwing it in the garbage and not even bothering to pack it up. Very disappointed.

I liked the bright color easy to find on a loaded beach most of all. I did not like the idea that we got this one to replace one we had before and this one turns out to be not Waterproof material/protected
