This is exactly what you need if you rent and don't want to mount anything to the rental property.Takes just a few minutes to install. Very easy to adjust for right or left opening doors.I do like the feature that allows the charging without having to take the camera out.The cover is not metal, but this would be hard to steal.It comes with some rubber spacers to let you make the fit nice and tight.This is a great item to mount a camera without tools and does a good job keeping the camera safe.I used this for a Ring Doorbell. I am very happy with the camera door mount.

I like the product, easy to install except that it took me a while to try to squeeze the doorbell into the space with the surrounding foam provided. It’s going to be hard to place again when I will need to recharge the doorbell. You have to disassemble everything each time. It’s compact, good quality, and good looking holder.

Love this for my new apartment, it is super easy to install and is convenient for people who are renting! If you have a screen for this may not work well because it may get covered by the door. It fits perfectly around anything square for the most part.My mom has hers on her mailbox that hangs outside her door bc she has a screen door

This unit has one screw but is sturdy enough to hold and not damage the apartment door. It does not block any visibility to the surrounding area. Easy to pad & access my ring doorbell for charging when needed.

I think the mount itself seems pretty good. I purchased this, for an Awit Doorbell Camera, I had bought a couple of days earlier , it was recommended by Amazon where I purchased the doorbell camera itself. Assembly was easy, and quick, but my Awit Doorbell camera was much bigger, than what it is made for, so I couldn’t get the protective padding in to keep camera secure. I had to use it, without the padding to make it fit, but it leaves a space for the camera, to move around inside. I’m just thankful I was able to make it work with my camera, it seems pretty strong, and steady, , and so far nobody has tried stealing it. 🤞 We have a lot, of porch pirates around here! It’s great to have a strong, easy to assemble mount, to keep my camera in place! Just check compatibility before buying, because this was supposed to be compatible with Awit but it was almost too small. Great mount for compatible doorbell cameras though! 👍.

DOOR WONT CLOSEThis does fit a AOSU video door bell but if you have a large window in your door it doesn’t allow the bracket to fit all the way on.Door will not close. Got creative with double sided automotive tape. Kinda defeats the purpose though.Will not drill into my expensive doors.
