Upon opening the box it was clear to see everything was organized well. Everything is labeled appropriately, however there were a couple of rods that were labeled under the packaging. So you won't know those pieces until you take the foam off of the ends. The package that holds the screws are labeled a bit funky, but you can figure it out.The finish is even and without a ton of blemishes. I didn't notice any large blemishes while putting it together.Assembly directions are well written, easy to read and understand. Pictures are very helpful. While assembling the bed all components seem to be well built with quality materials and design. Assembly was fairly easy with the exception of the slat retainers. They were pretty hard to install and some of the tabs can break off. This doesn't seem to affect the functionality or safety of the bed. Not enough for me to remove any stars because of it.Once the bed is assembled it is quite sturdy. It does have a slight wobble to it, but not more than most metal bunk beds. Once it was put against the wall (in the corner), there were no issues even when the kids were getting up and down off of the top bunk.Overall very satisfied with the fit and finish of the bed, even more so that I got it on a black Friday deal, but I would pay full price for this as the quality is good.

my wife and purchased this bunk bed for our grandchildren when they stay at our home. The price point was very good. The bed is sturdy and made of metal. The upper buck has a protective railing and the lower bunk is only inches from the floor. This is a good safety feature but does make it a challenge to prepare the bed for older folks like us. But it is a great bed for the price and our grandchildren love it.

please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. where to start. assembly takes a long time you need to snap in about a hundred little plastic clips and they tend to break if your not careful. covered in warning stickers that are a pain in the butt to peal off. and my biggest complaint: the futon hinge doesnt work!! every time your try to convert form sofa too bed it sounds like the hinge is coming apart. i took the matress off and noticed the hinge was rubbing on the frame, so bad infact that it dented out the sides and wore the paint off. i thought maybe i had installed backwards our something so i took it apart again and tried flipping things around. nope nothing worked, i have to assume this is the way its designed. absolute garbage product

My husband and I assembled this together. It had all of the parts plus extra screws and washes just in case, but we used a drill instead of the wrench provided. It is very sturdy and the kids love it! The bottom bunk is low to the ground which gives me peace of mind for my youngest, and the top isn’t too high up which gives me peace of mind for my oldest.
