Durable
This is a great tarp for the price I paid. I laid it down as a floor to my backyard event. I placed tables, chairs, and people walked on it that wore heels. It did not tear.

good sizes
heavy duty tarp works great. Grommets could be stronger.

Grommets are not the best but plenty of them.
Generally speaking I was pleased with this tarp. I did not measure for exactness but it covered the size I estimated for. It also appears very square and generally seems well made with decent thickness. When unfolding one of the grommets was pretty damaged (see picture) which appeared to be caught in the folding machine. Also applying medium pressure a couple of the grommets started pulling through the tarp.

The Rainy Day Avenger: 8'x10' Heavy Duty Tarp to the Rescue!
Calling all homeowners in distress! If you've ever found yourself on the brink of a roofing disaster, let me introduce you to the caped crusader that saved my day – the 8'x10' Heavy Duty Tarp! This unassuming piece of waterproof magic turned my roof leak nightmare into a tale of triumph.First off, the 12mil thickness is like the body armor my roof never knew it needed. Raindrops tried to infiltrate, but this tarp laughed in the face of moisture. It's like the superhero of waterproofing, banishing leaks with a single, impenetrable layer.UV resistance? It's more like UV defiance! This tarp stood tall against the sun's relentless rays, not succumbing to the wear and tear that lesser tarps might. It's like the sun threw a challenge, and the tarp responded with a superheroic UV shield.Rip and tear-proof? You betcha! It's like this tarp went to the superhero gym and bulked up on rip-resistant muscles. No matter what sharp objects or harsh winds tried to bring it down, the tarp held its ground, maintaining its impenetrable stance. The 8'x10' size is just right – not too big, not too small. It covered the leak with precision, leaving no room for water to sneak through. It's like the tarp was custom-made for my roofing woes.In conclusion, the 8'x10' Heavy Duty Tarp is the unsung hero of home repairs. Five stars for being waterproof, UV-resistant, rip and tear-proof, and an absolute lifesaver for my leaky roof. Sorry, leak, but you've met your match in the heavy-duty superhero that is this tarp!

The thinnest 12mil tarp i've ever owned
I should take pics as proof but I am so annoyed at the moment that I just can't be bothered. And I will say, I read the reviews prior to purchasing this tarp and I have never had such an opposite experience with a product. How anyone could say it is a good/strong/thick tarp is beyond me.The good:Color is as pictured. Yup, that's it.The bad:Dimensions are off: 20' x 30' was 19' 7" x 29' 4"On a 30' tarp at 3' spacing there should be 11 grommets not 10Which brings me to grommet spacing, they ranged from 27" to 42" center to centerAnd last but not least, grommets are incredibly flimsyOh also, there is a 1.5" x 3" grease stain approx every 4' down the centerResults:The corner ripped out on the first attempt to use it and there weren't any sharp corners or extreme tension being applied. Ridiculous.I knew I should have returned it as soon as i opened it and felt their version of a 12mil tarp. Or, at any one of several points along the way. But, the wife liked the color and I had a need for it now. Now I am out the cost of the tarp, the time of messing with it and obviously the time and money of finding its replacement. So, unless you really want/need this color I suggest you do yourself a favor and purchased a different tarp. One last side note. After the corner ripped I did compare it to other tarps I have lying around (just none this size) and it is noticeably thinner than my costco 11mil tarps (12x16) and only slightly thicker than cheap 5mil (5x8) blue tarps. I knew better and should have stopped myself but, all I can do now is warn you all in hopes you don't make the same mistake I did.

Not recommended for long-term use in sun!
This tarp failed within one year of service covering items on my deck. It degraded in quality when exposed to the sun and started tearing. Not suitable for my use in the sun and rain for long-term use. It could be adequate for short-term use in the sun (less than one year).
