My children and I came up with a system where each gem color represents a reward that they can earn based on things they do. Every day I give them a white gem which is worth 10 purple and so on.The gem color is worth something special and can be redeemed for selecting a place to visit (like the zoo, museum, etc) or doing an activity that they like and the entire family has to do it too... or purchasing a video game that they want.. etc. It has worked great and they keep them in a wooden treasure chest.They even negotiate among themselves when they want control of the remote in their room. It has even helped with math because they have to add and multiply to figure out how much they have to work to get that they want and convert the white gems to purple gems and to green gems etc... the gems with the highest worth are the blue gems and they are really working towards getting one. Those are worth like a family trip to Disney. It’s going to take them like a year to get there lol. I am very happy with this purchase and it was fun sorting them and putting them in various containers with them as well as writing down what their worth was and the rewards assigned to them.

Love these!! Very vibrant colors and perfect size. Fit easily in bottle opening for sensory bottles being made for my niece. Color assortment was perfect as well. Seemed to be a pretty even amount of each color.

These are as described. We used the to make treasure chests for kids. I wish some of them were an actual gem shape instead of a random blob. They look more like an uncut stone than a jewel. The kids love them and they hurt your feet like Legos when you step on them on carpet. Enjoy!

I wasn't sure what to expect for the size. The posting says mm when it means cm. The quality is good though. I've seen board games (Ascension and Till Dawn) with pieces shaped the same, but these are larger. You get a grab bag of colors. I LOVE these! Bought them to decorate office for Halloween. Our area got assigned board games so I'm going with the Snow White and the 7 dwarfs Gemstone Mining board game. These will fill the mine carts I'm making out of card board boxes. They are perfect because they are not perfectly formed stones, just what you'd expect dug up from a mine, by a dwarf. 😉I saw one review said they were pointy. I can see someone saying that, but IMO they are just rough edges, nothing pointy or dangerous. Although a toddler should not play with these for obvious (choking) reasons.

I used these for manipulatives in the classroom. They are good solid pieces that have beautiful bright colors. Will work well for party decor and manipulatives in the future. Very durable.
