I'm not a car mechanic but I managed to fit this myself without too much trouble.
My electric window broke and wouldn't go up. I looked at some youtube videos to figure out what was wrong. The wires fray in old fiestas which stop the window from going up. I saw a similar item on a youtube video and compared it. I was a bit unsure whether this would fit properly or work at all but after a couple of hours struggling with the door fittings I was relieved that this mechanism fitted perfectly and worked like a dream. My fiesta is 2005 plate MK 5 fiesta flame 3 door. Window mechanism is drivers side.Before you take all the bolts out be aware that you will need either a very short screwdriver with torx head or a ratchet spanner with torx head to bolt the runners in. It is very hard to get everything dismantled properly so best not to take everything off completely. There are lots of plasticy things that can break easily if you are too aggressive.Overall I am very happy with this product. It is still working after a month.!!
