Edco 7/32" Copper Foil - Black Back by Crafter's Best

I love edco black backed foil. I hate to use any other brand. When it was out of stock for months I tried many others and didn’t find any that I liked. This foil is thick enough to burnish easily without ripping and is easy to get to lay down around curves.Another positive is that when soldering the adhesive does not make a mess like some other brands.I will always purchase and recommend this foil!

I have been doing stained glass copper foil for 25 years and this is the easiest foil I have ever found. It adheres to glass so well, and seems to smoothly wrap around the glass. My soldering lines are cleaner and no more removing previously foiled glass that not wrapped on evenly. I love this foil, and will continue to use it going forward.

Agree with previous reviewer… ordered two rolls, one is fine, the other seems like an Edco reject. The foil continually jammed in my foiler and broke into little pieces. Tried to use it for hand foiling with much the same result. The paper backing sticks too hard in places and the foil breaks when you try to unroll it for application. Have never had an issue with any Edco foil in the past. UPDATE: After the second roll began to do the same thing, requested a return/exchange. Received the exchanged rolls promptly and returned the defective ones… only to find out the two exchanged rolls are actually WORSE than the first two. Totally useless. Waste of time and money.

What happened? I love Edco copper tape but this roll is the worst ever! Are you selling your rejects through Amazon? Tape cracks on the gentlest curves and one edge is missing glue on the tiniest strip but makes all the difference when burnishing. I'll save this for straight pieces and buy a new roll at my glass shop.
