Pretty good little robot!
I have a small house on a little farm, so to say we track in some dirt is an understatement. Before it's first run, I swept up the dog hair and dirt because it was just a LOT - and I wanted to give Dirt Reynolds a fighting chance on his first run. I was astounded at how much additional dirt and dog hair it picked up when it ran. I was truly impressed with the suction power and its ability to get edges and corners with the air puffing thing and the swirly brush. I need to play around with the water flow for the mopping feature. I put it on regular flow for the first run because I was afraid it would run out of solution/water, but there was still 50% left for an 700-ish sq. ft. area. So I'll put it on high flow for the next run. It does not do a "pro" mop job, but if I run it a few times a week I expect that it will keep the floors cleaner than I do myself throughout the week...then if I am having company I can always run a sweeper mop myself to make it truly shine. The mapping was actually really accurate. When I saw the map, I could tell that it mapped under the furniture that it could get under, and for me that's worth it's weight in gold to get it clean under those spots on a regular basis. To not have to move some tables and credenzas...money in the bank! It's not too noisy - I keep my dogs in my home office with me while it runs around the rest of the house and it's not noisy enough to cause them alarm. It is loud enough when there is an error and it talks to you. When it's in mop mode it can't self-empty the dust bin, so it called out to me that it needed to be emptied before it could move on with the job. Overall I'm super pleased. I think it's a great investment and will save me from a lot of constant sweeping and mopping!

This vacuum has sucked the life from my soul
This $400 robot has been the bane of my existence since I got it. It only worked properly for one week, then a part broke off and of course the part was out of stock forever. Finally got the part and then ANOTHER part broke off and same thing I have yet to been able to get the other part ever since as it’s sold out on their website. The vacuum worked amazing for one week lol but since then even when I do get it to run it always disconnects from my WiFi or some other technical annoying crap

Impressive Cleaning Power with Smart Features
The Shark Matrix Robot Cleaner has completely upgraded my cleaning routine! It does a fantastic job picking up dust, pet hair, and debris on both carpets and hard floors. The Matrix technology really works — it moves in precise, overlapping patterns that leave my floors looking spotless. I love how smart and easy it is to use. The app setup was quick, and I can schedule cleanings or control the robot from my phone, even when I’m not home. The mapping feature is great — it learns the layout of my home and navigates around furniture smoothly without getting stuck. It’s also quieter than I expected, which is a nice bonus. The self-emptying base is super convenient and means I don’t have to think about vacuuming for days at a time. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. I bought it to help with cleaning the pet hair from my 140 lb lab in between deep vacuum cleanings and it does the job! The Shark Matrix is reliable, efficient, and packed with features that make life easier. Highly recommend for anyone looking to cut down on daily cleaning time!

Mopper not great
Overall its a great bot but the thing that is killing me is the mopper. First of all poorly made. Mopper broke, called in, they had to replace the whole unit, and the second unit broke too. I went in and fixed it myself, seems the trouble is the super cheap water pump it uses. Seems to be a third party part which is only a water pump and bought cheaply by shark from another company. It is NOT a vacuum cleaner part. The place I think they buy this pump from is not a vacuum parts company. Just saying cheaply made but expensive in price, this shark. This pump gets gunked up pretty easy and then the water starts to streak and does not go on the floor well. I drilled bigger holes in the pump but it still gets some issues, bad design. Even if it worked right, its still a bad mop. Just smears dirt around and cleans nothing. I marvel at how dirty my floors look. I am just buying a different unit. Even if the mop worked perfect the mop design is still quite inferior and i want my damn floors clean. So people with maybe not so much to mop or are just interested in vacuuming, then this unit is excellent, has a lot a nice features and navigates well. Darn thing vacuums much better than i could, and i do adore that part of it. Thing vacuums great. So what are my suggestions for the mopper? Dual spinning mopping pads. Actually scrub the floors. None of this Sonic Mopping bs. The sonic mopper actually breaks a lot. Much more complex than a motor which just needs to spin, but the skark mech uses that poor water pump to shake the plate back and forth. Water flow breaks then the whole thing break. Spinny motorized pads? Those wont break and better design. Have unit periodically return to base to clean the pads. Stop smearing dirt and actually remove dirt. Make sure the unit accepts proper mopping fluid, its CRAZY we have all these fancy bot moppers that cant take proper fluid. Sure shark had its own fluid but what if u want to use floor shining fluid or whatever? A proper mopper must accept proper mopping fluid! Your use of any kind of fluid even sharks will increases chances the pump slows down, but i am pretty sure just plain ol water will too as contaminates will still get into the water(its….running around on dirty floors so yea). Cmon people, surely you studied mopping issues before designing the unit, yes? This mopper does not address the basic use cases for mopping, such as i need to get the dirt of my floors. How did you think this unit would do that when you designed it? Normally i would not make such a big deal here but look at the price tag for the price you pay you want it to work. Wouldnt be a big deal for a cheap unit but for this thing and its price tag, you need it to do as advertised, but it does not

Superior replacement for our old robot vacuum cleaner
I’ve waited a couple of months to give this Shark AI robot vacuum cleaner a thorough review so that I would have the opportunity to fully discover its pros and cons. We recently moved to a new home, so when we first set up the robot vacuum cleaner, the house was in disarray and I was worried about the mapping function - given that we had not arranged our furniture the way we wanted it, or even purchased all our new furnishings. So I figured it would take some time to truly assess how the robot vacuum performed and adjusted as we settled into the house. While our previous robot vacuum cleaner (that we retired once we moved into this new home) was not a Shark model, we are familiar with Shark vacuum cleaners. One of the three handheld vacuum cleaners we own is a Shark, and we also own the Shark HydroVac XL 3-in-1 Vacuum, Mop, and Self-Cleaning System. We have a generally favorable view of the brand and were excited to try this robot vacuum out. Overall, we have definitely found this to be an upgrade from our previous robot vacuum cleaner and it performs much better - but not without a few minor issues which I will outline below. PROS: - Set up is quite simple and does not take a huge amount of time. The functions are relatively easy to figure out and we managed to get the robot vacuum launched and running quickly - sending it out to map the house. - It performs extremely well on our hardwood floors, and thankfully, the vast majority of our home consists of hardwood flooring. - We are satisfied with the vacuum and mopping features. Having owned robot vacuums before, we understand that they are not meant for deep cleaning but to perform regularly daily maintenance to prevent your house from becoming overly filthy in between actual manual deep cleans. If you keep this in mind and are not expecting deep cleaning wonders, then the performance will likely meet expectations for the most part. - Having the self-empty bin is highly convenient and we don’t feel the need to supervise the vacuum as much, which often defeats the purpose of having a robot vacuum. Sometimes, with our old robot vacuum, it would stop cleaning because it needed to be emptied and we were not around to do it. - Navigation, while not 100% flawless, is much better than previous robot vacuums we have owned so far. - This Shark robot vacuum goes back and forth over spots, and seems more thorough with cleaning - especially since it makes an effort with edges and corners. - It performs pretty well with pet hair, which doesn’t seem to jam it up or get tangled very much. - The suction is strong for a vacuum this size! - You can set up no-go zones via the app. - The app is quite functional, and while I felt that it lacked a few features that I would have liked to see (such as the ability to track the vacuum’s movements remotely and see where it is in the house, and the ability to name some rooms correctly because the app just does not offer those room names, like guest bedroom), it still offers a lot of helpful options that should satisfy a lot of the average user’s needs. And while the wish features we found lacking would have been very nice to have, we ultimately find ourselves doing fine without them. CONS: - Mapping in the app is kind of a mess and not very intuitive. I felt that this could have been better designed. - While the robot’s navigation is better than our old robot vacuum, we felt that it had difficulty generating a very accurate map. We are not sure if this could be attributed to the fact that we had just moved in, as I mentioned, and things were in constant disarray. Between the robot and the app, it took us a while to get the mapping sorted to our satisfaction. I highly recommend that you do not do what we did by setting up the robot vacuum while your house isn’t in perfect order with 100% clear pathways. Wait until your home is tidy and more or less the way it normally appears. - The self-empty bin is so helpful but in our household at least, it fills up faster than the product claims. Having said that, we are a pet household, so we might have more debris than the average house. - While this is a dual action robot vacuum and will clean both hard floors and carpet, I find that it sometimes has issues switching between the hardwood floors and a rug. Of course, a rug is not a carpeted floor, and I don’t know if this is an important factor. We don’t have any carpeted floors so I cannot comment on how it performs in that regard. However, there is some clunkiness and inefficiency around cleaning and navigating around small rugs (especially if the robot vacuum is trying to mop the floors and one of the rugs is in the way). We are still trying to figure out the best way to have the robot vacuum not run over the rug with a wet mop attachment and get it wet - which could happen even if it does not actively “mop” the rug. - The robot vacuum is a bit noisier than we expected. Overall, we are still very happy with this robot vacuum and it’s the best one we have owned so far. If you are considering buying one, I definitely recommend investing in the version with the self-emptying chamber. It has made our life a lot easier!

Paid $500+ & Broke before 2y Anniversary - Warranty Only 1 Year
2 star rating is because of the replacement offer, described below, but the rating should be 1 star since the product failed less than a year after the warranty expired. In the beginning I was satisfied with this vacuum robot. I had owned a Shark vacuum robot that a was a basic model, random pattern of cleaning and required manual emptying of the dirt|debris cup. This robot provided 5+ years of service, serving as a benchmark to me. This pricy upgraded model has advanced mapping technology and cleans with a matrix pattern that insures thorough cleaning of floors. This model is a 2 in 1 design meaning it can also mop hord surface floors and vacuum carpets. I did not use the mop function, only the vacuum function. The self emptying of the dirt|debris cup a very convenient feature. But all of my satisfaction evaporated yesterday when I called Shark Product Support for assistance with an error message from the unit. The error message was "unable to empty debris cup", I emptied the dock debris tank and the debris cup on the robot. But the error message continued. Hence I called Shark for help. After following steps provided to me by the Product Support person on the phone, and him looking at diagnostic data from the robot available to him over the Internet; the unexpected and unwelcome news was told to me. The product had a failed curcuitry board and the problem could not be repaired since the warranty was expired (past the one year of use). The Product Support person offer me a discount on a new replacement, same model. Since the discounted price was lower than the price on Amazon, bot considerably less that my original purchase price in October of 2023, I took the discounted offer. The replacement is coming tomorrow by FedEx ground and I will put it to use ASAP. But if this replacement fails to operate for less than 5 years, I will never purchase any Shark|Ninja product.

Okay at best
Key notes: mapping accuracy 2/5, Mopping feature 1/5, Vacuum feature 4/5 Noise Level 4/5, Battery Capacity 4/5, Cross Section Vacuuming 2/5, Value for Money 3/5 This is the Second robot Vacuum I have owned and I thought buying a name brand means I would be getting my moneys worth, however I don’t know that I did. Being able to have the house routinely cleaned through the week is definitely something I like with a busy lifestyle, however that’s kind of the idea with all of the brands on the market. The mapping technology at least on this model seems subpar, I previously had an Eufy and was much happier with its ability to map out my living space and its ability to show me step by step where it has cleaned in my house. The Shark shows you the “general area” but if it gets stuck or stopped while you are not paying attention good luck figuring out what it has cleaned, you might as well have it redo the whole house. It’s good at detecting larger objects but if you are standing in its path when it get close to you it will completely spaz out trying to figure out what to do once you move out of it’s way. The ability to do cross sections while cleaning does sound great until you realize it can only do it to a room at a time or a small area when requested. The mopping feature is okay for what it is. This is my second model with this style mop pad and it does operate slightly better. Just know that this does not truly mop the area, instead it drags the mop behind itself as it goes which kinda of cleans the floors. You would be better off using a swifter wet jet and cleaning up areas yourself. You first need to run a vacuum cycle then switch out to the mop pad and let it run again. Now I can understand that this is not a item that should be used as a “does your cleaning for you device” but the hype of the idea of a moping device should be a side not and not a main feature. If you really want a robot with the ability to mop opt for one that has a spinning mop pad. I have had this one for somewhere around 6 months and the brush roll has broken…? Not sure how or why but in one of the ends of which the brush roll can be taken apart to be cleaned the plastic has broken. It almost looks like someone heated up the plastic and redesigned the look of it, hard to explain. I have been happy with the battery life, mine vacuums around 1200-1500sq feet and it does it with ease and I believe I could get up to 2000sq ft in the eco or even normal vacuum mode. Even with the power mode it does not have to charge durning cleaning. It is quite quiet and I typically only hear it in the room I am in or when it is coming to my room which I am happy with, even though I have it scheduled to run while I am not home it is nice to not have it loud on my off days. Conclusion: if I had the opportunity again I would have spent a little bit more money and gone a different direction whether I was looking for a vacuum or vacuum mop combo. I would spend the little bit more money to go for a model with the spinning mop pads in my scenario.

Disappointing for the price
I have all hardwood floors so wanted to buy the best mopping vac I could find. The “gps” mapping part of this is terrible. It learned my floor well and lets you do “no go” and “carpet” zones. However, 50% of the time it will accurately do just my kitchen (if I select that room), then the other it will go try to mop my living room rug that it’s literally never supposed to touch. Then I think the fluid reservoir design is small for this unit when it’s bought specifically for mopping. In normal mode it will do my hardwood floors about once, then I have to take the head off and go refill it, defeating the purpose of not having to touch it for a while The vacuuming part is decent or what I expected, but I’m disappointed with the mopping quality and fluid refilling Update 10/19/25 one of these still performs normal while the other repeatedly spins circles on my “never go” (rug) zones like it’s trying to gain a gps/map connection. Literally every single time it only goes where it’s never supposed to go. Then it gets stuck and never makes it to the 1 room it was supposed to go straight to. The “bad” unit is no longer able to spray fluid down at all (but does attempt to mop). Shark is zero help, but Reddit is full of people explaining how to manually restart/prime this unit (not in the instructions) which I can hard reset but it still can’t pump fluid After 4 months I wish I returned these within the 30day window but can’t and am considering just throwing $1,000 away Update 12/22/25 (1 of 2) continues to function as it should while still a big disappointment. But the (2 of 2) brand new unit is unable to navigate its perfect map it made, and is completely unable to mop. It doesn’t even give me the mop option in the app (or spray manually) it’s just a crappy vacuum. Going to throw this one in the garbage and buy another Roborock to replace it I guess

Excelente Producto.
