This security camera is wireless?

The "wireless" means the camera connects to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, so no Ethernet cable is needed. However, it still requires a constant power connection. A 2.5m built-in USB-A power cable is included.

What network does the outdoor camera require?

A 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. During setup, please plug in the camera and place it within 1 metre of router and make sure your Wi-Fi is on the 2.4GHz band (5GHz Wi-Fi are not supported).

Are there any additional costs to access all camera features?

No. All basic camera and app functions are free, including 10‑second motion alert clips and TF card storage (card sold separately). The only paid option is cloud storage, which is completely optional.

Can this outdoor security camera record 24/7 continuously?

Yes. You can enable 24/7 continuous recording by inserting a TF card for local storage (card not included) or by subscribing to the cloud storage continuous recording plan.

Does this outdoor camera work with Alexa?

Yes, it works with Alexa-enabled devices that have a screen (e.g., Echo Show). Please connect the camera via the Wansview Cloud app to the Alexa app first. Note: live streaming is not supported directly through the Alexa app.
