Excellent Monitor for Mac
I bought this monitor for my wife to use with her 13" M1 MacBook Pro. I researched 27" monitors for a number of months and this one was always at the top of the list. It is one of the few 4K 27" monitors that has a glossy screen as most come with a matte screen. The deciding factor was the build quality of the monitor and that set it apart from the other monitors. So far everything has worked fine and my wife is enjoying having a large screen to look at instead of a laptop. The screen looks great even though she prefers setting it to a lower resolution of 1920 instead of the 4K.If you prefer a glossy screen and are looking for a solidly built monitor, then the Alogic Clarity should be one you consider.

Superb alternative to the Apple Studio Monitor
I decided to upgrade my intel 27 inch iMac and purchased a Mac mini with the M2 Pro chip. I had had the pleasure of a 5K retina screen for years and wanted something similar and was not willing to spend the money for an Apple Studio Display. I purchased the Alogic Clarity 27 inch 4K monitor. That was a great decision. Stand stability was an issue in some of the monitors I researched. The metal stand in the Clarity 27inch monitor is rock solid. Additionally, unlike the Apple Studio Monitor, you can adjust the height, swivel left and right, tilt and rotate to a vertical position. When I set up my new computer and monitor I had the 5K Retina iMac next to it. I am not a professional video or graphics person. However, to my eyes, the images on the Clarity monitor and the iMac were very similar. Gorgeous screen. I think this is an outstanding alternative to the Apple studio Monitor. The only negative experience with this purchase was with Adorama. Although I purchased this through Amazon, Adorama actually sold it to me. Adorama has a price match policy. I paid them $799.99. The day I received it I found that Alogic was selling it with a 20% discount using a code. The sale and code were displayed right below the add to cart button. The sale price was obvious. Adorama would not honor the sale price. They said they do not match code prices. After going back and forth a few times they did give me a $40 refund, not the $160 discount, but something.

Great quality for MacBook Pro setup
The media could not be loaded. I bought this monitor because I heard it was created with MacBook users in mind. It saved me more than half my money rather than investing in an iMac which was going to cost me more than 2x the amount. I was just looking for a bigger screen because working off my laptop all the time was becoming a hassle for me. This works easy, the picture quality is amazing. Adjustability is also a plus. Setup was smooth. I definitely recommend for anyone in the same predicament!

Great Picture Lousy Speakers
As soon a I turned this monitor on, I knew I made the right decision. I've been looking for a glossy screen monitor for a while and didn't want to pay Apple's high price for their studio monitor. The picture is gorgeous and really makes my photos pop. The speakers on this monitor are horrible (and that's being kind). I didn't get this expecting great speakers, but I've had monitors in the past with internal speakers that were just okay, but these are nowhere near just okay. I deducted one star for the speakers because they are so bad, but if like me, you're not prioritizing the speakers and will use an external speaker or speakers, then this is a great option over the Apple Monitor.

Returned it.
After I set it up. The colors were totally off. Brightness is 60% at the Mac. I contacted customer service, he tried to fix it and i sent a video image. He could not fix it. So I returned it. I thought they tested before shipped but it did not. It was a hassle to pack and drop at UPS.

Exceptional 4K Monitor, a Perfect Companion for Mac Mini M2 Pro!
I recently purchased this Alogic Clarity 4K monitor to pair with my Mac Mini M2 Pro and the results have been nothing short of astonishing. The build quality is truly remarkable, setting this monitor apart from its plasticky competitors. It feels premium and sturdy, which reassures me that it will withstand the test of time. What I appreciate most about this monitor, though, is its gloss screen. With it, colors and details pop in a way that is quite striking and adds an extra layer of immersiveness to my viewing experience. I am absolutely smitten with this monitor, and I'm confident it will be a delight for anyone who values high-quality visuals and robust build.

Glare is horrible - build quality is terrific
Wish I'd gone for the Dell for significantly less with glare coating and fairly equivalent/ even enhanced port options - these are solid but the glossy finish makes for near untenable glare. I'm shocked this has not been mentioned in any reviews, so here it is. Finally, the borders are at least half an inch, not to the edge if you are placing two side by side.

HDMI Ports support HDCP
High-bandwidth Digital Copy Protection (HDCP) via the HDMI ports on a 4K TV are standard. However, for HDMI ports on a computer monitor, not all are compliant. Prior to purchase I contacted ALOGIC support to ask about HDCP capability of the HDMI inputs on their Clarity 4K monitors. They kindly answered that they were compliant. And they are, in fact. You can connect an Apple TV 4K and/or a cable set top box with no problem. Perhaps all 4K computer monitors with HDMI inputs are likewise compliant, but I would not assume it and certainly not assume such for a 1080P (or 1440P) monitor. Good monitor overall and I especially like the gloss display - a big improvement over the fuzzy-ish look of the display it replaces.
