The Complete Bike Owner's Manual (DK Complete Manuals)

I don't want to be uninformed whether I go to a bike shop or not. Brought me up to speed after 60 years of not biking.

Book came today and did a quick read of the book. The print is large enough so I don't need my 1.25 glasses. Pictures are clear and easy to understand. I would recommend this book to someone who wants to do basic maintenance and see the steps for advanced maintenance. (but let your local LBS mechanic do the advanced repairs).

The pictures are great and it covers many modern setups. I do think it's lacking a lot of details, especially with drivetrain adjustments, tools, and older bikes in general. You'll still find yourself using google and youtube videos but this is a solid foundation to work from.

This book helps me know about bike parts, what they are and how to maintain them.Especially for my E-bike

The pictures are really nice and helpful. the instructions are relatively clear. There’s been a couple times where I feel a step has been skipped because, I’m guessing, the author assumes I already know it. overall the book is great for understanding the components of a bicycle and how to maintain them.

Great book! Love the detailed descriptions and full color pictures!!! I lost my book and had to buy it again! I didn’t even bother looking around for a different one! 👍

Doesn't touch on everything

The most helpful book if you own a bike. Pictures and detailed instructions

Simple informative and concise. The essential Road/Race bike repair book. Own and maintain a modern (Post 2010 2018) race bike? Buy this manual. You can't go wrong.

Excellent book, full of 3D illustrations, very detailed and for beginners. Arrived well before the deadline. I was surprised.
