Pricey Playfood but good for imaginative play.
This is a good set of plastic play food and tins that would compliment a play kitchen or home area. As a Nursery Practitioner, I ordered this set for my outdoor play house - the plastic makes these durable and washable, and the children in my Nursery love to go shopping with their baskets in our playhouse. This set offers a good variety of items, such as pizza, fruit, veg and cakes. There are quite a lot of "junk food" items, such as chips, burgers, hot dogs, which is not so great. Some of the items are quite small - I removed some of the chips and hot dogs because I work in the 2 - 3 playroom, but for older children these would be fine and in fairness the playset is aimed at children aged 3+. The tins were a little disappointing as they had printed labels which the children in our room pulled off within minutes - This would be less problematic in a home setting, but underneath is just a grey coloured "can", so the play value diminished. We also found that the ice creams would not sit in the cones at all, but these are moot points really. Overall, this is a fairly decent set of play food but in my opinion also a bit pricey considering the quality and selection.

Disappointed ☹️
Disappointed, found a sharp piece inside that could have easily hurt my little girl if I hadn't of found it first! Came with 2 salt shakers not salt and pepper and the pizza doesn't come whole 👎

Pretend Play Food Set
At time of writing this review, the price for this pretend food set is £24.99.Our son loves playing with foods, such as bread, vegetable and fruit. The pretend food set is just something he needs. Now he can play and organise the food items as he wishes, for example: he has tried to make himself a corn ice cream with the included items. What a great way to let him use his imagination and practise as well. I suggest parents to clean the pretend food set first before giving them to the kids, as unavoidably they will try to put the toys in their mouth. The size of most toys are large enough, so it should be relatively safe for the kids to play, but it is wise to keep eyes on them as they play.

Large box of play kitchen food
A large box of kiddies toy food which is quite good value when you consider how many pieces are included. The box came damaged even though none of the toy food pieces were broken it would have been disappointing if it was for a present. Luckily the toy food was for the play kitchen my grandchildren have at my house. The plastic is quite thick and doesn’t bend out of shape. The only slight criticism is the sizes of the play food- for example a piece of orange is the same size as a potion of chips. Would be good if the sizes were in proportion with each other

Good value for the money
You get a lot for £25, a full box filled with a great variety. I was really pleased so was my daughter. They're all plastic so not really eco friendly but it's exactly the set I was looking for. I didn't want to buy 3 different ones and this one contains everything she needs to play pretend at her new kitchen.
