We looked and tried Beautyrest Smartmotion, Serta Motion Perfect, and the offerings from Temper-pedic and Select Comfort. We selected this model based on the features we felt were most important: wallhugger, 850lb rating, Amazon reviews, and price. We also selected this model specifically after careful review of the "compare models" page at Leggit & Platt's adjustable bed webpage. Delivery was on-time and two gentlemen delivered to our front entryway. We didn't have far to move the bed, but if you have stairs to maneuver or aren't strong I would suggest paying for the set-up service as the queen weighs almost 200lbs. The queen platform frame comes fully assembled so if you have a landing or other tight quarters that require split queen box springs then this probably won't work for you. We are using the platform with a Temper-pedic foam mattress and it works great. The mattress can be fastened to the platform with either velcro straps or a bar that is inserted at the foot of the bed. Since our mattress doesn't support the velcro method we used the bar. The feet are strong steel and easy to attach and adjust with a push-in pin release system. We have a 4 post bed with side rails, high head and high foot boards and the platform fits easily inside with no interference or rubbing of the mattress or retaining bar on either head or foot board. After the bed is made you cannot tell it from a standard box spring design. It's too early to speak about long-term reliability, but the bed seems solid, well made, and works great. Initially we were not interested in led lights or massage functions, but at this price we were pleasantly surprised and glad we bought this model vs the basic wallhugger model. We're very happy with our purchase, Amazon's delivery, and have no buyers remorse.

We ordered 2 of these in TwinXL which fit perfect for our King mattress. Adjustments, underbed lighting and head and foot adjustments are excellent. The mattress never moves with the micro-hugger technology even without the mattress retainer. We actually really like the massage feature and lighted remote. Neither came with the USB hub, but really who needs that under the bed near the wall outlet. Set up was very easy - screw on the legs, flip it over and plug in. The item seems very strong and durable. Delivery was prompt, it came about 1 week faster than the scheduled date. Overall this was a really good price for a nice adjustable bed base. For the mattress, we took apart our 9 year old king size Sleep By Number mattress. We split the foam into two and put each half into twinXL zippered mattress protectors. We added a new top layer of memory foam, a mattress pad, and our sleep by number is better than ever and adjustable. We saved more than $4000 on a new adjustable sleep by number bed. We did have a big problem with one of the two beds - one worked great, one has a broken connection under the bed where the white plastic connection cord to the power supply was broken and it had a missing mattress retainer bar. I was actually very irritated at waiting on my bed and was going to give a low rating. However customer service was surprisingly helpful. After a service phone call with 10 minutes on hold and 2 minutes with the rep, all missing parts were shipped out.

Like a previous reviewer, I researched adjustable beds online and settled on Leggett and Platt due to their history of quality and reasonable pricing. This was over a decade ago, but other priorities prevented me from ordering one until now, and I was delighted to see that Amazon offered this line. I didn't order white glove delivery, but the delivery men did ask me where to put the box inside my home, as it was raining and the box is humongous. It does need at least 2 or 3 people to set it up; 3 to get it from box into hallway and room, and 2 to turn it over after screwing on the legs and plugging in the power cords. Batteries for the remote are included and after buying a surge protector, I was good to go! Like a previous reviewer, I placed 2.5 dia felt discs (instead of sliders) on the bottom of each leg before we turned it over to protect my laminate flooring. No problem moving it into place; no scratches & easy to place where I want it. It works beautifully! Massage is indeed gentle and does not shake my floors or make a loud noise at all. Love the wallhugger because I have a small room and am able to place the unit only inches from the wall. I bought a hybrid mattress from a local retailer because I think mattresses are too important not to try them out in a store before you buy them, and I think I got the winner. A perfect complement to my new adjustable bed. Sweet dreams!

As a retired couple we wanted to purchase a new bed that would allow us to position ourselves better and more comfortably for watching TV or reading. This bed works perfectly. I did a lot of research and finally decided on the L&G S-Cape 2.0. It arrived on time and very well packaged. The base is quite heavy (170 lbs) and requires two people to handle safely. The bed was fully assembled except for adding the legs. We had the legs on and the unit in place within an hour. The motors are quiet (in our opinion) and the bed functions very nicely. We have full massage, which is very nice and the under bed led lighting adds a nice touch. We definitely recommend this product!
