Q: is this aquarium safe like abs?

Resin is generally not safe for aquariums. If a resin 3D printed part doesn’t cure thoroughly, it can release toxins that are harmful to the fish. In its uncured form, 3D printer resin is notoriously toxic to aquatic ecosystems. The compounds in liquid resin can cause adverse health effects and deaths in fish. This resin has characteristics like ABS, but is NOT ABS, it's still a resin. To make ABS parts, you need an injection mold, as ABS is molded under pressure, so you could create bucks for the mold with a resin printer, but that's as far as it goes.

Q: I bought this abs-like along with the eco, both black. the eco is very translucent on my 1.5mm thick cover plate, will this abs be translucent too?

Anycubic makes 2 transparent ABS-like resins. The standard colors ABS-like resin is opaque.

Q: After abs-like + resin is cured, can it be used outdoors and exposed to water?

The cured resin model is not recommended to be continuously exposed to water & placed outdoors, it will lead to the model become swell and soft.

Q: Does this resin get chalky/wear itself down when used for joints or connected moving parts?

Typically, this does not happen. I found when what you are describing happens, it’s because the print has not been completely clean and cured. I use two steps with a high grade alcohol 90% +. The first gets a lot of the residue off then the second rinse gets the rest. So two baths different buckets. There we are softer type materials that will wear. I try to use ABS like when making a wearable joint.
