First Bible Basics: A Counting Primer (Baby Believer)

One of my favorite kid’s Christian books that we have so far. Introduces some basics of the faith and my daughter loves the imagery.

I absolutely love this book. It lists important theological concepts And provides a numerical way to remember them. Gives a simple explanation of each. There is one picture of Jesus, so I know that some people may not like it for the depiction, but I do think it is worth buying the book and putting a sticker over Jesus if it's a concern for you lol. My kids like it and they are 1.5 and almost 4. But I also personally enjoy it because it's a good reminder for me!It contains:It is amazing. It counts to 10 using things in the Bible. I also appreciate that it shows the 1st 3 days of creation images opposite the 4,5 and 6 because it helps them to memorize. So on day one God-made light and dark, but day 4 God-made the sun and moon. Biblically sound truths about our perfect Jesus.Our son loves this book and asks for it frequently (he’ll hand it to us and say,”Bible? Bible!”) so it is quite precious in our home.A true primer, the book leaves the reader with the very basics of the Gospel.Every parent must use prayerful discernment when choosing literature and media for their children. This has passed the “sniff test” from our most trusted and mature Christian mentor and we pray it will be the first of many beloved books about Jesus in our son’s life.Beautifully illustrated and each point is backed and cited to the Word.

We absolutely love this book. I stumbled upon in online and purchased it immediately. I've never seen a book like this. Simple, biblical basics that are easy to teach a toddler. The illustrations are stunning and captivating. My 3 year old daughter and I have been reading this all the time since we've purchased it. I was shocked and impressed with how quickly she picked up on so many of these Bible basics! She could recite the 7 'I AM" statements in only about 2 weeks of reading this book. She picked up on many of the smaller numbers right away and has been building upon the higher ones. I can't recommend this book enough! I think I've told everyone I know about how wonderful it is and have had many friends purchase it based on our recommendation and have received awesome feedback that they love it, too!

This is cute! A friend recommended this series of books and glad we tried it. It’s not super flashy but the art work is still beautiful and the written work is great. It’s simple enough for young minds to digest while also driving home some solid theology!

My oldest child is 3 years old. I purchased this for her a year ago. At that time, I was impressed with the beautiful illustrations and the foundational concepts which are represented. Its an excellent book. My daughter began taking more interest in it over the last 6 mo. She loves to be read to and seems to be above average in her understanding. That said, she would lose interest in the book when we first bought it. However, she now (at age 39 mo) really enjoys the whole book and has memorize several of the listed including the names of Jesus, the fruit of the Spirit, and the Ten Commandments (with a little help from Slugs and Bugs Sing the Bible, too!) A great purchase and one we are now reading to pour 5 month old, as well.

This is a great book to gift at baby showers! It is a board book that is durable and has great content to grow with your child. I love all the books in this series!

I absolutely love giving this book to new parents for baby showers. The illustrations are beautiful and the concept is very basic and easy to understand for children and adults.

One of the best Christian board books I know of (if not the best). What other board book outlines Christ's two nature's? Absolutely lovely illustrations and solid, solid Bible basics. Gets a smile from every theologian I show it to. Simple, but much to soak in over the years as a child grows. Can't wait to read it to my nephew.

I would give this book 5 stars if it wasn’t warped.

I’ve been buying these books one at a time and they are getting worse and worse with shipping. This one came in a HUGE bag but no protection. I’ve already sent one back. It’s so sad that they are almost $20 each and are coming so brutally damaged.
