[TLDR @ the bottom]The pick guard and back plate both looked good and felt okay and as you can see, mounted fairly well. The only issue is that even though this is labeled as an Affinity replacement part, many of the screw holes don't line up. I didn't feel like drilling new holes so as you can see there a quite a few screw holes missing screws, but honestly it's fairly minor.TLDR; Solid replacement piece, don't expect it to perfectly fit your affinity, expect some empty screw holes.

Es muy buena , tenia una strat abandonda y al cer una marca economica (SX) no queria gastar mucho, los agujeros no encajan del todo bien pero supongo que es algo normal al no ser una guitarra fender, aun asi lo pude poner y la calida que proyecta es muuuuy buena efectivamente si trae las 4 capas que promete.

I wanted a new look to my Strat, so I picked up this pickguard to replace the 8-hole pickguard on my Classic 50's Series Stratocaster. The holes in the pickguard lined up fine with the existing holes in the body.

The pickguard worked for my 1999 affinity strat, but two of the holes were not aligned and needed to be expanded a little for the screws to fit in. The back cover does not fit at all. The material feels a little thick. The white color is too white to my taste. It has a slight blue tone that makes it look less attractive. I would recommend you to try a different white. I am planning to replace it with a parchment color one next year when I change the strings.

Put this on my Fender MIM 50s Classic Stratocaster. EVERY hole line up on both the pickguard and the back plate. I only had to countersink the pickup and 5 way switch holes. Easy 5 minute fix. Excellent quality. Actually had double clear protective material on mine. Peeled two layers. Nice.

This thing looks amazing but the screw holes on the front and back plate didnt line up with my squier strat. I had to shave off the where the neck met the pick guard which made the screw holes match up. The back plate is completely off though and will require drilling new pilot holes.

Like other people have said, there are two layers of protective film so make sure you get both of them. The pickguard seemed to align pretty well and the full shielding eliminated almost all of the noise I was getting in my audio interface. My one gripe though was that the back panel doesn't line up all that well with the bridge. I'm probably going to have to take it off if I need to replace one or two of the strings. But I was pleasantly surprised that the white finish is slightly muted instead of a bright white.

Montato su una Squier CV 50's Strat (Indonesia). I fori combacciano perfettamente d'avanti e dietro. Qualitá oltre ogni aspettativo. Schermatura completa e funzionante. Ho svasato un pó i fori e ripassato il taglio per il manico, piú per ossessione ché necessitá, potevo montarla anche senza modifiche. L'effetto perla é abbastanza profundo e fatto bene.

Wonderful product. A few of the wholes were off but, considering they will always be covered I just drilled into the body to fit the screws. A bit of a bummer I ended up with the pearl diarrhea brown because the abalone was sold out, but otherwise it looks pretty slick to me! It comes shielded which is a plus and the matching back plate is a nice touch. Would definitely buy again!

Bought it for my CGS10 serial 50's CV Squier, looked like it was going to be a perfect fit but wound up installing it on a CY03 serial (Crafted in China- circa 2004) black label 8 hole Squier Affinity... aieeee new life for the ole girl 🤘🏻
