Madeira Bread Board, Teak Edge-Grain, 17" x 6"

I ordered three of these and may be going back for more. They are absolutely beautiful, especially for the price. They look very expensive and they are well made. It's a nice convenient size. It's narrow but wide enough to slice a loaf of homemade bread or to use as a fruit and cheese platter. The size is long but not so long that you can't put it under your counter. It's perfect. The directions say to rub it with mineral oil for the first week and then once monthly afterwards. I'm planning on baking pumpkin breads in pretty ceramic loaf pans and then including these paddle boards as part of the gift. Also including my pretty handmade pumpkin bread recipe cards. Great gift from the heart. Order these boards now...you won't be sorry, especially if you are a bread baker.

I bought two of these--one to keep and one to give as a gift. I will be ordering more. This is the perfect size for an actual cutting board if you are a messy cook (like me) or have a small kitchen and need a relatively shallow board because you have "stuff" on the back of your countertops. It's also very, very attractive and could be used as a bread or cheese board at the table. The wood grain is beautiful and it comes nicely packaged with raffia and a card, so will make a great "platform" (literally) for homemade Christmas gifts such as breads, jams and homemade candles. I will be ordering more of these to give family members for Christmas.

The wood grain is beautiful on one side but the company logo is burned into that side. I bought this to have my company logo engraved on so I had to choose between engraving the "ugly" side and having the board logo on the same side as mine.Other than this rather specific issue, it's a good size for regular kitchen use.

What a nice surprise to see this beautiful cutting board. It was immediately hand washed and rubbed down with food grade mineral oil. It soaked the oil right up and enhanced the color of the wood. It comes with directions on how to take care of it. This cutting board would make a beautiful gift for someone. It's ready for gift giving as shown in the photo. It has a hole in the handle for hanging, if desired. I'll be ordering more for gifts.

The wood is a beautiful color. I bought it to do wood engraving for a family member so I don't know how it fairs with being cleaned or how fast it becomes scratched. It was perfect for what I wanted it for.

It wasn't as large as I expected it to be, but it is quite attractive. The instructions say to use mineral oil on it every now and then. I thought mineral oil was not to be consumed? Even poisonous? I don't think I would use this oil on anything that will have direct contact with food, such as cheese or bread.

BEAUTIFUL cutting boards. Each board is so unique. I bought 12 of these to personalize and give away as Christmas presents. They were a big hit & I kept one for myself. I applied mineral oil to the bread board after wood burning names into the boards and let them dry overnight. I also added a piece of leather string so they could be hung if the recipient so desired. These boards are so beautiful. I highly recommend them.

I like the way this board looks. However, I made the mistake of washing it in the dishwasher. Don't do this, wash it by hand. It ruined the shiny finish and while I still like it it's not as pretty as when I bought it.

beautiful wood grain and staining. I don't know how well it will hold up with use, but purchased for an add in item for a gift basket. It looks very impressive for this purpose.

This is as, if not more, beautiful than the picture. the quality is great for the price and the wood pattern is very attractive. I rub coconut oil on it after each wash to preserve the rich colour and protect the wood from drying. I'm thinking of ordering a few to give as gifts.
