The lower front, rear and upper back heats up nicely, the shoulders not so much. I'm a 40" chest and bought an XL, slightly roomy but ok. Enjoying the purchase.

When this first arrived it really did the job and kept my husband warm as described. However, he was irritated at the small size of the battery pocket. He is elderly and found that he had to use extreme contortions to view the three heat indicators which are at the side of the right panel. The electric connections have now failed and the jacket can no longer heat up. Although I bought it in September and out of the return period Amazon customer services have been brilliant and have refunded the cost of the jacket and I have sent it back. I will buy another one and keep fingers crossed that the electrics do not fail but the small pocket issue will not go away.

A great heated vest. Does what it says. Like the three temperature settings.

It’s necessary to buy a battery pack and I’m finding that not as efficient as expected. It takes a few hours to charge and runs down after only a couple of hours and so the vest isn’t heated again until the battery is fully charged again. The vest once heated is cosy and warm so that is a described. I did buy the one suggested but I advise check all info before purchasing otherwise the vest isn’t heated for much of time.

If you wear a rucksack with a waist belt or go metal detecting and wear an outside belt with your tools on it be advised because the power buttons are at waist level they can be changed by the bely position. Buy one with buttons at chest level.Fit was pretty good except shoulder fit was a bit loose so heat not so effective in that area, well made and nice materialReturned it and bought one with chest positioned buttons.

Although you do feel heat and it does keep you warm, mine seems to warm 1 side more than the other, especially where the battery sits! I'm no expert but isnt having the pocket that holds the battery heat up the most a bit dangerous? Good enough product for the price, but could spread heat a bit more, and possibly design battery connector somewhere else to avoid heating the battery pack up!!

This vest is alright. It does get warm, but definitely not quite what I was hoping for.The heat pads are very small, and very far apart, so it just gives you a couple of warm spots, not the feeling of wearing a heated vest.
