Good for small projects
Have owned this jigsaw for over a year and love it! It is perfect for small projects and it is nice not to have the cord in the way. Wish the battery life was a bit better, but it still isn't bad. I would not recommend this product for larger projects.

More that I expected.
My use of this tool is a bit unusual. When I have a moment I'll make a video blog for "The Posture Doc" site. This tool is quite strong for it's size and weight. I performs and holds up to strong use all day long very well. I have purchased about 10 or 12 of them now. I received one bad one which Amazon replaced promptly. All the others were great. I still use several of them and intend to get more of them. I think the machine is a super tool. This machine is very powerful and you wouldn't think it would be at first because it is lo light and kind of small. Let me tell you that I run them all day long (now for months) and they still run like new. They are hardy little buggers and they hold a charge very well. I personally think everyone should have one. I tweak them a bit and re-sell them. More often than not the folks that buy them at $100.00 dollars buy more, or recommend them for friends and other family members. They simply work very well.

Not so fast...!!!
I despise advertising where "little things" are allowed to be "gotten away with" and when confronted STILL won't be addressed. Take, for instance, this otherwise really neat little saw. There IS NO LED LIGHT on it - AS ADVERTISED!! Why, there isn't even a "charge light" to tell you, when it's being charged or not!! You just have to guess. And shame on me, I'll take the rap for this, I didn't realize the voltage on this was going to limit my ability to use this the way I wanted to. OK, fair is fair, I don't think it's right to hold this against the seller/company so know that while this is a really great little tool the amount of battery time is not too long. Sure, it depends on the demand of what one is cutting - thickness, etc. - but one thing is for sure, when it's dying it's quick. I was using it for pruning and since I was wearing decent work gloves I didn't realize how warm the saw got as it was dying. No, it's not dangerous, just interesting that it happened. There is one blade included and I have never seen a blade that I found out is called a "SHANK" blade. Meanwhile, responding to the "up selling" of additional blades, seen as the usual advertisement that is seen with many items sold, I ordered the blades only to find out that WHAT WAS RECOMMENDED WAS NOT SHANK BLADES, they are the "U" type!! The instructions make it clear - ONLY uses Shank blades so I have to return these and I've since ordered the correct ones.I dropped one star off of the rating due to what I call the "fraudulent advertising". I was going to drop another but like I said, it's my fault I didn't realize the voltage and really, it is a nice little tool.

It good for the price
The safety button is hard to press at the same time that you press the trigger. At least for what I'm using it for. The battery don't last long enough.

dumb charger, decent item
so i bought this item specifically to convert to a theragun style percussion massager. it actually does that pretty well, since the stroke length is 1/2 inch and rate is something like 2000 strokes per minute.the jigsaw is still louder than some power tools but definitely quieter than my worx 18v lithium jigsaw. using an iphone app for measuring Decibels, this was about 80db from 1 foot away. my worx jigsaw was 90db. so not as quiet as a hypervolt or purewave (about 65db), but still good for the price.here's whats not good, the item is advertised as a built in 7.2v lithium power source with an unspecified capacity. the proprietary charger supplied is a 10v 100mAh charger with no light or indication of charging. basically 100mAh is a very slow rate of charge. my purewave is a 8.4v 1000mAh charging, and takes about 30-50min to fully charge. this jigsaw takes 'up to 10 hours to charge' according to the manual.so basically they cheaped out by supplying a charger that can continuously charge without harming the battery because the rate is so slow, instead of supplying a quickcharger that will auto shutoff once the voltage is correct.overall its still a good item, just has this slow charge flaw that makes it so you kindof need to charge it overnight. lame

Drops blades fast.
Drops blades so often. can't cut more than a few inches of plywood in a straight line. None of my other jigsaws have ever dropped a blade. It cuts just fine and quickly for a few inches. Much larger than I thought. But now that I pay closer attention to all of the photos showing various people using it, the photos are very good. NOT adjustable speed. Standard bit coupling for any jigsaw blade. Quick change without needing tools. Base not adjustable at all. Also it could benefit from the modern removable battery design that has surpassed all of the "plug unit directly to power to charge" designs. That's okay, this is very handy to just grab and go cut whatever. I got it to do small projects around the house like making picture frames etc... The rubber accessories kit that is advertised near this item as a massaging adapter is dumb. This item is not intended to be in operation while the bit is touching the skin, no matter what kind of bit. This ain't a toy, and is not variable speed, it comes on wide open or not at all. I would give it less stars, but it just does what it's supposed to do, and it does it well.

Nice saw for gourd cutting
This saw was recommended in an article in The Gourd Magazine and I have used it on a couple of gourd projects and it cuts nicely. I bought U Shank blades and they work fine even though the instructions that came with it say T shank only. The only thing I don't like is where the button is to unlock the trigger. It's a bit awkward for me to use.

Great little theragun
Bought this as a theragun, not intending to use for any construction project. No charge indicator, and charging takes awhile, but it is so worth it. Much better than a flyby, noisier, but better. I don't use mine long, so the charge lasts me several days. Highly recommend.

Perfect percussion massager under £50
The Black + Decker LPS7000 is really good compact and budget jigsaw for a percussion massager. I bought this thinking it would be cheaply built and lacking the saw strength, but I was wrong. I recommend it to anyone looking at making a under £80 percussion massager. The only problem I have with it is that it has an annoying buy easy to use charging system and that you can't lock the jigsaw to keep sawing without having your finger on the trigger. But hey, you pay for what you get.

Very weak cutting tool
This tool is simply too low power to be suitable for any kind of work. I purchased it for (what I thought was light duty cutting of 3 and 6mm plywood. This device could not do that without running out of power within minutes. Maybe it will work on cardboard. My advice: do not buy.
