These do run small!
I first bought W11 or EU41 because I read that they run small and I usually wear a woman's size 10 1/2 shoe. The EU 41 was too small, but thankfully my daughter was able to use them for her work shoes. I ordered the W12 or EU42 next, and those were almost perfect. They're still a smidgen shy of the sport shoe I'm using them in, but probably better than going up one more size and having to cut it back. They are good insoles. I just wish there was more cushion to them, but I feel that way about all insoles. I have ultra high arches so these don't give me complete arch support, but they're a lot better than many other insoles which claim to be for high arches. I do see that this brand does have another insole which appear to be for high arches, so I might try those next. I'm using these for playing pickleball and so far they do a good job of keeping my knees from hurting. Give them a try. You can always return them.

Among The Best Orthotics
I have quite a collection of orthotic insoles due to the need for more arch support, metatarsal support, and plantar fasciitis where the standard insoles any shoe comes with is very inadequate. I love the Pedag Viva Sport but I also like Pedag Viva leather, Pedag Viva Winter, the PowerStep Protech Control Pro, and the New Balance Motion Control. The Powerstep is the best choice for people that need a rigid arch but has limited cushioning. The New Balance is by far the best for added cushioning and shock control but is too thick for many shoes but are in all my sneakers. The Pedag Viva leather is super thin so can fit in shoes where others wont work but still provides quality semi rigid support. The Pedag Viva winter is ideal for insulated boots, skates, ski boots, winter cycling, or to add warmth to any shoe as it is also very thin but little cushioning. The Pedag Viva Sport is really in the middle of these features where it is fairly thin, provides decent cushioning, and adequate arch and metatarsal support. They also are very comfortable where you don't notice them over the OEM insoles other than the additional support.. Note that these work for many more situations than just sports as they are superb for casual wear and even dress shoes if they fit in. I also like Superfeet for edge control in ski boots but their metatarsal support does not work for me for long term use and they have almost no cushioning to aid walking or hiking. Also, for bicycling, the Specialized insoles are also excellent and can be used for other applications plus you can get them in 3 levels of arch support. Oh, and the Viva insoles cost much less than other quality insoles so are extreme values and tghey wear well too. Being winter presently, I mostly use my Goretex sneakers and boots right now with the Viva WInter insoles in them. My feet never get cold and I don't over sweat either.

Better insoles than what came with my basketball shoes
I’ve used this same sole inserts for almost three years in my basketball shoes and the support has been sturdy as the same day I bought them. They fit nicely into my size 11 shoes and has been very comfortable. The only issue for me is the red cloth at the toes area has peeled back, exposing the rubber. Hasn’t been a bother and has not failed me on the court.

4 star due to the key support factor not being quite right
I will start by saying I will probably get another pair of these as they are well made, but there are some pluses and minuses to be aware of:Plus:Quality of manufacture - highVariety of sizesThin but comfyMinus:The metatarsal bump is nowhere near as pronounced as I thought it would be. I have some Holiday inserts from Pedag and the bump is significantly more pronounced. These are maybe 1/2 to 2/3 as pronounced and as such give a lot less support in the key area that we are all looking for. They are not available in wide fittings. This is a drawback as they do seem to run slightly narrow too. Just know this and be forewarned. Getting a longer one & trimming it will put the bump in the wrong spot too.I do still like them as I needed a thin, full length insert for my boots which these do well. I will probably get another pair for a different pair of boots as the market is small for full length inserts. The alternative is to layer other inserts with a Holiday 3/4 length but that gets cumbersome. If they made them wider so they could be trimmed to fit and made the bump as high as the Holiday inserts ,these would basically be perfect.

These allow me to run without any nerve pain.
I broke my foot a lot of years ago and it caused nerve damage. Most physical activities - running, hiking, skiing, etc., would cause sever pain to my foot. A podiatrist recommended that I get inserts for my metatarsal. I was skeptical, but tried it. I came across the Pedag's on Amazon and tried them. I am now on my 4th pair. They have pretty much completely resolved my pain, and add a good level of cushion, far better than the factory shoe inserts. And I buy high end running shoes from running stores. These are a great product and have literally changed my life. These are German quality and TUV certified. Not a cheap 3rd world knockoff. I can't recommend them enough.

Pedag excellence + extra bounce!
I was advised to wear insoles over 20 years ago. Since then I have tried quite a few, including NHS ones which were moulded to my foot, and a pair of rubbery 3/4 ones which cost under a tenner and were recommended by a leading podiatrist. They all have their uses. These days I mainly rely on Pedag 'green' insoles. These are made of fibres which mould themselves to the shape of the foot, and I find them quite comfortable. Over time, however, the fibres become crushed and you start to get a hard landing. When these Pedag 'red' came up on an offer I thought I would try them as the rubbery material promised a softer landing ...... and that's what you get. Both 'green' and 'red' insoles have the proven Pedag plastic base at the heel end (see the photo). This base includes a rubbery heel cushion plus the Pedag 'bulge' at the mid-point. This 'bulge' gives the foot a pivot point which promotes a natural 'rolling' walk. (There is probably a technical term for this.) It feels odd to start with, but you soon get used to it and - for me anyway - it does help, especially with one of my feet which otherwise tends to plonk itself flat on the pavement without rolling much. At the 'red' front end you have the springy rubbery layer instead of the fibre layer on the 'green', and this is where runners will be happy, I imagine: you get a good bounce-back from this. If you run on the balls of your feet I would say this would work well. For me, for walking, I find that this bounce-back tends to interrupt my normal walking rhythm. Not disruptive, but a little bit odd. Over a couple of walks I have become used to it, but if you only want an insert for arch support (plus a mid-foot 'bulge') you may find the Pedag 'green' a better choice.I was surprised at the springiness of the Pedag 'red' insoles. Although they are not absolutely perfect for my walking needs I will continue to use them because they are well up to usual Pedag standards and do a good job. And runners will probably love 'em!

Seem to have solved my Plantar Fasciitis, although no good in my running shoes.
I bought these to try and mitigate my Plantar Fasciitis, especially when running. I replaced the insole in my running shoes with these and went for a run, but after 20 minutes had to stop as the raised pad in the middle of the insole, which is supposed to provide cushioning for the metatarsal, felt like I had a marble in my shoe - it was very painful! I've since tried them in my shoes and they are great for walking - lots of support and very comfortable, but considering I bought these specifically for running, I'm disappointed that they ended up being worse than just using the standard insole.Update - I use this just in my everyday walking shoes & boots now and after about a month, my Plantar Fasciitis seems to have completely resolved. Not sure if it's just down to using these insoles, but they are very comfortable and I'll be getting a second pair so I don't have to keep moving them from shoe to shoe.

Comfy but not wide enough in trainers
I ordered these insoles for my running trainers after developing a Mortons Neuroma and was advised to get something with a metatarsal dome. The insoles are very comfortable and work well in a sports shoe setting but sadly didn't work for my problem. The heel has a plastic section which, although comfortable, raises my heel even higher in my trainers and with the existing heel raise in traditional trainers, this made the Neuroma worse as the pressure of any impact still landed on the nerve. Also, despite the insoles being a perfect length, the mid to forefoot part is far too narrow for my trainers (Asics Cumulus womens) and gives me blisters under the outer edge of my foot and toes if I walk mor than a mile, hence I haven't tried running in them. To improve, these need to be wider (I can't imagine what shoes they'd fit in!) and the metatarsal dome needs to be bigger. Sadly I can't wear them which is a shame as otherwise they're very comfortable.

Didn't work for me.
I took a real risk here as I don't have a lot of cash to spend but I was just desperate. I have plantar fascia and fibromyalgia so I suffer a lot of foot pain. I though these would support my arches and soften my steps but sadly they just made everything worse. I can't return them as I had to cut them to size. I got blisters all over my heels after two days of use and was limping home after only ten minute's walking. I suppose I wouldn't recommend these to those with my conditions. I'll ask my doctor if I can see a specialist.

Great for flat feet
Bought these for flat footedness and it has made a huge difference. No longer have intense foot pain after a day of walking, in fact feet have felt weirdly massaged if that makes sense. Didn’t even need to cut it to fit shoes. Put them in a pair of Adidas if that helps.
