Replaced several lapel pin-type name tags with these. Work very well. Might be an issue for pacemaker wearers.

Hefty magnets. Other brands had two this brand has three magnet tabs. Tried it on jersey shirt and held secure. Don’t intend to use it on a coat. Just be careful when removing by sliding the name tag down to get off. Pulling it off will damage the holder. Followed this advice from other reviewers. No more pin holes left from regular name tags so this is a win.Only needed to make some tags so the cost was economical than buying at big stores for much more.

I actually used these for a frame I did for my bathroom mirror. They hold really well and they functioned well for what I intended to use them on.

I often make standard 2 1/4" pinback buttons for events, and these magnetic badge holders are just the right size to use with those buttons. I don't even need to add the metallic strip; they attach just fine to the pinbacks as is. If I know people are going to want to use these, I even make the buttons with smooth backs... once the event is over, it's easy to convert them into compact mirrors or file/fridge magnets and save these magnetic badge holders for future reuse.
