Interesting mix of goodies, some treats better than others
I like to try new things and I like candy... so when I saw this bag of treats, I figured it was worth a shot to give this a try. This is a pretty good-sized bag of treats, all brightly wrapped and perfect for kids and people like me who are kids at heart. Before trying this bag, I hate to admit that I have not had many Latino candies before so this was a new experience and while I found some of these candies to be familiar (the gummies were good) but I didn't exactly find the chili covered ones to be something I could finish as I found the taste to be gross. Your taste buds may vary but with 7 different candies in the mix I ate more than enough candy for one person to be happy. For the price, I found this to be a great value and even with the few varieties of treats that I didn't find myself eating - I still found there to be more than enough good stuff that I'd try this again, possibly around next Halloween.

Spicy, interesting flavors, fun to try, but some candies melted and/or leaked over all the others…
I was looking for candy from other countries to try, and these are made in Mexico. The first impression wasn’t great, as each individually wrapped candy was all sticky and gooey from other candy leaking or melting inside the bag. However, the novelty of trying candy that is outside our flavor comfort zone was worth it. The Bubulubu are chocolate covered marshmallow with strawberry jam. The Classics are sweet gummy bears, the Sour are like sour patch kids. Extreme heat taste like normal gummy bears….with a burn on your tongue after eating. The others were significantly more spicy, with chili being the primary flavor. My 7 year old liked trying them, but stuck to the classics. My next door neighbor high schoolers thought these were amazing and especially liked the tamarind/chili pops. It was pretty fun trying these in a group setting with everyone’s immediate reactions ranging from happy to dying.

Glad I tried this out...
I am an explorer at heart and love trying new foods. Mexican candy, for me, is new. First off, this is a big bag and at $18, this is what I paid for domestic, US made candy. This isn't a bad deal at all. Next, this is made by Bimbo owned company. Bimbo is one of if not the largest bakeries in the world and owns many US brands. That gave me some piece of mind too. The selection is interesting. There's a lot of different types of candies here. Some are familiar, like the gummy bears (although you don't see "Extreme Heat" gummies much in the US). Others I've never heard of, but seem familiar, like a candy you'd get in a chocolate sampler - the Bubu Lubu's (my favorite). The rest is different - almost more savory than sweet. None are too hot and spicy, but most are tangy and do have a little heat due to the pepper coatings. I don't think I will hand it out tonight at Halloween, but do plan on eating it all. It's good and I'm glad I tried it.

Very unique!
Warning - DO NOT get this if you're primarily looking for average American style candy to feed your kids. There are standard and sour gummy bears, but otherwise I think this wil be pretty weird candy to most Americans. But as an adult who loves trying new things and likes unique flavors I really enjoyed it. Chili powder lolipops and extreme heat gummies? Yes please! You get 6 varieties of candy, much of which has a spicy kick. I liked them all except for a chocolate marshmallow variety which just wasn't to my taste. This is a HUGE bag and you get lots of pieces. The biggest problem is that I think there may have been some storage or transit problems because the candies were all kind of sticky and melty. So while the flavor was mostly quite good the texture was off. I really think they may have melted at some point or possibly had some kind of moisture problem. These candies are very unique and I'm glad I got to try them!

Variety?
Variety? I believe that means more than one type . My bag came melted and only had one type of candy. Very disappointed. But I would give them another chance.

Spicy and Unique Flavors
When I ordered this I really had no idea what I was ordering. Now that it's arrived and I've tasted them, I'm still not sure exactly what they all are but they are yummy.I really liked the spicy suckers which are an odd mix of sour and spice. The gummy bears were pretty normal. I'm going to have fun slipping some of these into the candy bowl at work to see how people like them.Overall very happy with the "Ricolino Dia De Los Muertos Assorted Candy Bag, Variety Pack, Perfect for Halloween, Pinatas or Parties, 3 Pounds 5.61 Ounces".
