Q: What color is the hardware?

The hardware is a shiny gold. Its a quality wallet. Very pretty. Holds plenty of credit cards, bills, a house key, a car key fob and a chapstick. I love it plus the green color is just what I wanted.

Q: Does the wallet stay snapped closed when filled?

There is a gap between the kiss lock hardware where coins fly out. I bought this purse for a trip to Great Britain, to keep my US dollars and GB pounds separated. I did not overload the kiss lock coin section, but the gap allowed coins to come out when I removed the purse from my handbag. Literally, I was throwing my money away! Don’t throw away yours.
