London Pottery Viscri Meadow Ceramic Mug, Almond Ivory/Cornflower Blue, 300 ml

De esta misma serie ya tengo dos mug de la "Viscri" y las encuentro perfectas. Las mejores. Vivo en una localidad que en verano hay mucho calor y mucha humedad y cuando uso tetera de gres y tazas de gres, el té es como si se recociese y parece que tomas infusión de algas. Sin embargo con el material de estas tazas el té está igual que si fuera invierno. Es cerámica ni demasiado gruesa ni demasiado fina que no cruje el material. Los bordes son suaves al beber y arriba es más ancha que en la parte de abajo y se va enfriando gradualmente. No pesa apenas y sin embargo es fuerte. Suelo lavarla con un poco de lejía para quitar las manchas de té y está el color como nuevas. De momento no he comprado la tetera a juego rosa azul porque sólo tiene 900 ml de capacidad y me gusta de 1300 ml. La forma de la tetera es más incómoda para servir. Las tazas, el azucarero y la lechera son para repetir siempre.

I really like this mug in ivory pottery with a delicate but striking blue rose design. It has a sort of Wedgwood vibe and looks dainty but is in fact , quite robust (dishwasher safe). As mugs go, this one manages to be robust and utilitarian but still look classy and dainty, The price point seems reasonable given the quality of the product. It comes in a very well padded box which is, rather sadly I thought, very plain. It could easily be made a gift item with more of an elaborate box.

Beautiful mug for any hot drink, the design is subtle but clear to see. The design is all over the mug with a blue lining the rim and the floral design on the inside of the top of the mug - which I really like. The mug is a good weight to hold and has an appropriately designed handle. It is a joy to drink out of this mug and the tea doesn't seem to stain the inside either so washes very well. A stunning gift! Also comes extremely well packaged.
