Global6" Serrated Utility Scallop Knife

I have several well-loved Global knives but have shied away from the Global serrated knives because I don't know if I will be able to sharpen them. But I finally took a chance with this utility knife and WOW I am so glad I did. Super sharp and cuts like a dream. The handle fits well in hand and very comfortable. It is easily one of my favorite knives as it is so versatile. Yeah, it shows all the tomatoes who's boss. But I particularly love it for crusty breads and bagels and cutting assembled sandwiches in half as it handles a multitude of textures/hardness with equal ease. It is also really fantastic for my super soft and delicate white/milk loaves as well and I don't run the risk of smashing the bread when slicing. I love this knife so much, I feel very confident that I will also love the Global bread knife and looking forward to buying that next for my collection.

Global knives are as beautiful to look at as they are to use. They are lightweight, and the textured handle ensures no slippage in the hand. They are easy to clean and never stain or oxidize. Well worth the money for this lifetime investment.

I purchased this knife in 2020 August. It was the most money I had ever spent on a knife but I was tired of using dull knives in my kitchen. This knife will make you happy. It's good for anything. Cuts and slices everything with great ease, as tho slicing through butter. I love it ..

Read Kitchen Confidential and he talked about it being the only good knife you need! Spot on, we have some nice knives, but this for sure is the best and easiest to use

Lightweight, comfortable to hold, easy to use, balanced well, incredibly sharp — be careful.I did a ton of research to figure out what makes the best knives the best. These meet all of the criteria. They are well worth the price.

I love this knife! Very versatile. I like that it is small since I work as a line cook prepping on the line I have limited space so it’s hard to use a 8-10” chefs knife. Also it’s hard to keep many tools there so it’s nice to be able to do several things with one knife. Also, it’s a global so amazing quality, feels nice in my hand and hey working with other line cooks you like to show off your knives and this one impresses without being too expensive. I would definitely buy again!

I love a small serrated knife for cutting up fruit and vegetables. This one is perfect. Fits the hand so comfortably. Ultra sharp.Careful not to cut yourself!

Premesso che sono un appassionato di coltelli da cucina e che conosco bene la qualità Global, questo coltello è il massimo per tutti i tagli che prevedono una parte dura all'esterno e poi una parte morbida all'interno (pomodori, melanzane, ecc.). Prezzo nella norma, spedizione super. Chi conosce questi coltelli giapponesi sa che sono ottimi, molto adatti all'uso professionale.

C'est sur les conseils de mon fils que j'ai choisi cette marque. Rien à voir avec la coutellerie habituelle.Les tarifs restent toutefois un peu élevés.

Yeh, I thought this would be a lot heavier but its light.Seems expensive and probably is ,still though it cuts like a razor.
