Beckham Hotel Collection Luxury Microfiber Mattress Pad - Quilted, Hypoallergenic, and Water-Resistant - Cal King

Packaging is unique; the pad was vacuum sealed in plastic bag, and that bag was in a zippered plastic pouch. I opened to "feel" the pad and the thing swelled up when released from the vacuum. The amount of expansion nearly doubled the volume of the pad; there's no way it's going to fit back into the zippered pouch. Fearing more expansion, and then having to figure out where to store the pad until needed, I closed up the vacuum bag and stuffed it into the linen closet. It will be a month or more before I need to change to the new mattress pad when changing sheets, etc.My "feel" test was satisfying, in any case. The fabric is soft, the padding is plump without being too pillow-like. The quilted squares of padding are about 3-inches square which is a bit larger than my existing mattress pad. I ordered the California King size; the package was marked CAL-KING so I assume that's what I received. It's always a chore to lift the mattress to change pad and fitted sheet, which I why I'm waiting until it's time for that duty. I did not get a look at the "skirt" that wraps under the mattress, so no comment about that.The shipment arrived in record time in spite of the glut of Christmas package shipments in the pipeline at time of order. At this point I am completely satisfied with this product. I have no reason to think there will be any dissatisfaction in the future. This seems like a well-made, quality mattress pad.

It is very soft and silky feeling, but if you are looking for padding this is not the pad for you. It says quilted, but it’s more stitching with a very thin inside. My old pad filled the washer. This one is so light that it only takes up half the washer space. It is a king size, by the way. It arrived vacuum packed as another customer mentioned..I was a little surprised as to me that meant it had been opened and was I really getting what I ordered. It feels fine under the fitted sheet and my bed has some pillow topping, but it is not as cushy as my old pad. I don’t know how water resistant it is. I guess I will have to wait until the cat 🐈 coughs up her cookies, (it’s only a matter of time), to see how protective of the mattress it is.It works fine, but next time I will pay more attention and get something with more fill in the pad.

I was hesitant to purchase a microfiber mattress pad, but I like this far better than even much more expensive mattress pads. I recently purchased a latex mattress and it sleeps a little hot. I wanted a mattress pad that would be comfortable but not too thick or hot.This is perfect. Other reviewers have said you won’t want to used a sheet over it, and I agree it is truly that comfortable. Best of all it does not sleep hot. It is exactly what i was looking for.It arrived vacuum sealed which was also amazing. I have not washed it yet so if I have anything significant to add after laundering I will update.Size:Cal King. Easy fit on 11” deep mattress

I bought this mattress cover to protect our brand new mattress. The price was reasonable and anything was better than what we had. This cover is very nice: it fits nicely, and it's soft. The light padding is enough to soften the sculpted surface of the mattress. Love it!

This is a great mattress pad. The sides are great and the elastic is just oerfect for a snug fit on my mattress. Would have given it 5 stars but i wish it had a little more padding but very comfy none the less. Did make a difference with my old mattress

Do not buy this!!!! I bought a brand new cal king mattress the one I had before was a tempur pedic and we had purchased a water resistant cover for that. I had to give it away when we sold it. So then I bought this and first week my daughter peed on our bed and it soaked through. I was extremely disappointed and mad at myself that I trusted this product. Do not buy it.

My 2 year old had an accident in our bed and needless to day, while I didn't expect it to be water proof, it wasn't the least bit water resistant. Disappointed we didn't make the return deadline.

I was very impressed with this mattress cover, I washed it in cool water and dried it on low air, it came out beautifully. No shrinkage, fit my California king perfectly. The price was really reasonable, came quickly. I was even impressed by the packaging. Will be ordering another for my new queen bed.
