Igloo BMX 52 Quart Cooler with Cool Riser Technology

Used the cooler this past weekend for the first time and it performed excellently. Put some ice in the night before use to bring to temperature. Then replaced with 4 small bags of ice on day I began using. It was a very hot and humid 4 days with the cooler stored in the boot of my hit car. I drained excess water every evening. At the end of day 4th day the cooler was at fridge temperature still (I left a little fridge thermometer in there) and had a good amount of ice left in it. Very pleased with its performance.

Absolutly outstanding product

Ice retention is superb on this cooler! I cooled the box down with 8 frozen bottles of water on the Sunday night, 24 hrs before going away, then on the Monday night I added the beers and a 2 bags of ice emptied all around. We left Tuesday morning, Ice was all gone on the time we came home Sunday night, but still had ice cold beers in the water that remained.Highly recommend this cooler, but if people aren’t getting ice retention, they may not be chilling the box properly before hand.

Bonjour, une très grande glacière avec un bon pouvoir de conservation des boissons et des aliments, à condition de mettre soit de la glace ou des bouteilles d’ eau congelé avant. Garde la fraicheur plusieurs jours.

El aspecto general es bastante bueno. He tenido la precaución de poner pegamento a los tapones de las bisagras (como precaución, por los comentarios de otros compradores que alertaban de que se salen y pierden con facilidad) y poner una junta de goma al tapón de desagüe (que no la trae y por eso pierde un poco). Estéticamente es muy chula, y se ve robusta. La tapa aguanta perfectamente que te sientes encima y los cierres azules de goma van perfectos. Las asas también se ven fuertes. Mi valoración por ahora es bastante buena (por el precio que he pagado por ella). Aún me queda probar que tal aguanta el hielo, ya que aún no he tenido tiempo de probarla. Las bisagras de atrás pese a ser de plástico se ven fuertes (creo que aguantarán bien, además por dentro trae un cable que evita que la tapa se vaya hacia atrás y fuerce las bisagras, evitando así su rotura). Me parece buen producto

Great size, quality material. Nothing feels cheap or weak. Keeps food very cold for days while camping.

I bought this for my annual 10 day camping road trip. This unit cut my ice costs in half compared to previous trips using a Coleman of equal size. So ice lasts twice as long and everything is colder too, even in hot summer weather. Two thumbs up!
