Love the design of these brackets. Very sturdy. I use these on my patio. I have to admit the screws aren't the best but you can use the ones you prefer, wasn't worth deducting any stars over. My opinion you would be pleased with these brackets!!

The old curtain brackets we had bent and caused our curtain rod to bend over time. These are SOLID and not going anywhere. 100% happy with the quality and will only buy this style of bracket in the future.

Purchased these curtain rod brackets to replace brackets that wasn't up to standards for a very large double window. These brackets were sturdy, the metal was was thick leaving no worry to a collapse. I highly recommend these brackets for anyone who wants to be worry free when it comes to changing heavy fabric curtains. The price was right and the product was worth the money.

These are much easier to work with than the keyhole slotted brackets that come with most curtain rods. Both screws are accessible without moving the bracket, allowing for fully secured screw mounting. Sturdy design can support a lot of weight.The size of the rod holder can be "adjusted" by bending the hooks with pliers. I used this with smaller rods and was able to bend the hooks in a bit for a more secure fit. Could probably bend the hooks outward if you had very large rods in order to get them to fit, but the way they come can already fit most rods.The only thing missing is any kind of rubber or silicone padding on the inside of the hooks to prevent rods from sliding. Some other similar brackets have anti-slip pads but may cost a bit more. This is a good value kit and is reasonably priced.

I needed brackets that would support the weight of long blackout curtains and also hold a curtain rod several inches from the wall. These brackets did not extend as far as the brackets that came with the rod. They were also slightly lighter weight. I thought the large space between the screw holes might allow each screw to do more work than if the holes were close together, but someone brighter about this pointed out that the weight of the rod and curtains would be pulling mostly on the top screw. The bracket that came with the rod had closer together holes. I chose to use the brackets that came with the curtain rod. They seemed to be a little better for my purposes. If someone had only a rod and needed brackets, this product might be a good choice. They were a good value price-wise.

I've always thought drapery rods and brackets were ridiculously expensive for what you get. Usually the rods were flimsy, "expandable" aluminum rods, and the curtain always got caught on the joint upon opening or closing. The brackets were an even bigger disappointment, bending and sagging with even the slightest pull of the curtain. I came across these brackets one day and ordered them, because of the diagonally braced design. They are solid. They do not show any signs of deflection when properly screwed into a stud, and the finish on these brackets are also nice. I also like the fact that the mounting holes are further apart, making it more difficult to pull down off the wall. This is a quality product, I am going to purchase more when I get around to doing the rest of the house. Get some metal conduit, finials, and a can of spray paint, and you will have something much more inexpensive and solidly built than most kits you buy at the big box store. My only criticism is that the supplied screws were not black, but the spray paint I had took care of that.
