Great Product with Excellent Support
I’ve had a really positive experience with both the product and the service. Bought this product for a 500-sq-ft basement space. The installation was straightforward, and the user manual is clear and easy to follow, which made setup quick and hassle-free. Once up and running, the product is extremely quiet and easy to move around, making it very convenient for everyday use. This product is valuable for money. What really stands out is the customer service. They were quick to respond, professional in communication, and very helpful with questions. The replacement process was smooth and efficient, which added a lot of confidence in the brand. Overall, a reliable product backed by great support. Highly satisfied with the purchase.

Great Dehumidifier and Great Support
This is a great little unit (80 Pint 2025 Energy Star Dehumidifier) for my 100+ year old basement. I was skeptical upon arrival and unpacking when purchased last year (March 2025), comparing it to my old Toshiba unit that had the same capacity and was much larger and a noise bucket. Along with the list of other dehumidifiers I have had to replace in past years. Once set up and running, I was extremely pleased how quiet and efficient it was. Barely even notice it is running and handles the very humid summers we have here, which permeates into the basement. Also was a workhorse helping dry things up with a hot-water heater leak/failure we had last year as well. My positive experience continued when I recently encountered an issue— the unit stopped working due to a humidity sensor problem. I contacted Waykar support and was pleasantly surprised to receive a response the following day asking for proof of ownership. Once provided, the support representative offered to ship a replacement unit and providing a return label for the defective one. As well as other various methods of returning the unit. It's increasingly difficult these days to find a company that fully stands behind its products and provides prompt, excellent customer service. I am very satisfied with this unit (and support) and will be buying a second unit for my garage.

Tip: How I increase tank to 5 gal- no drain nearby, don't want to empty the tiny tank so frequently.
It's a nice dehumidifier. Comparatively more quiet, more efficient and cheaper than many others. Only downside is such a small tank capacity. In my situation I needed to put it into a store room that had no drain. So placed it on a table* and led the drain tube into a 5-gallon bucket. But I also made an automatic shutoff (shuts power off at the electrical outlet to the unit, OR you could also wire it into the unit itself) using a float sensor, low voltage relay switch, low voltage power supply and small power strip. All inexpensive parts, and you can assemble your own shut -off if you don't empty your bucket when it's full (you can use any size bucket you want). I mounted my float switch in a 14-inch x 1 inch wide x 1/8 inch thick piece of aluminum stock (hole drilled in, can use wood) so I can very easily just remove it (it lays across top of bucket) it and put aside across a smaller container/bucket as I empty the bigger bucket. (You can also use the bucket lid or attach it some other way if you want.) I consulted Grok for parts list, instructions and wiring diagram. I don't have any specialized skills. So now I can use a small quiet cheaper dehumidifier in a place where there's no drain. And not have to lead long hoses, use a separate condensate pump, or drill holes in walls to reach the next room, etc. We shall see how the Waykar works out but so all is well. Even without the float sensor gizmo, the 5-gallon bucket idea is one that anyone can use immediately. Just see how long it takes to empty a certain amount of moisture from the air in the room and easily calculate how long you have until your chosen bucket reaches full (which I did the first week). Either way it works well. * PS: I removed the 4 caster wheels. Also, I plan to move the dehumidifier to a slightly different position on a bit lower platform to free up the table and perhaps gain a few percent "humidity sucking at a slightly lower altitude" but that's neither here nor there. Main thing is that you can set up with a bucket right away, and come back if desired with the rest of the plan later.

Why Didn't I Buy This Product Sooner?
This has been a game changer for our master bedroom. Some background info - our master bathroom has no real door to close off from the master bedroom, so humidity has always been an issue. In addition, our master bedroom has poor airflow from the central AC unit due to an inefficient and older HVAC system, location of the room from the air handler, and subpar duct work. We also have 12-foot ceilings - our master bedroom air volume is around 2,200 cubic feet and 195 sq ft. We also located in an area that has an average outside humidity of 67%-71% year-round with it being in the 80% range daily in the mornings. I choose the size of this product based on it's air flow capacity, and not square footage due to our vaulted ceilings. When I plugged in the dehumidifier, the humidity was 72%. Within an hour or so, it was already dropping to the low 60% range. Overnight, it kept the humidity in the low 50% range, with it turning off at 50%. It was the first time, in years, that we have been able to sleep without feeling sticky and gross. It is quiet and does run constantly due to the high outside humidity, inefficient HVAC system, and the setup of the master bathroom. But, it does not use a lot of electricity and has not significantly impacted our electricity bill. It is very effective and the size is perfect for our master bedroom. I do have to empty out the water twice a day because I do not have a drain available to allow the constant draining feature. The water tank size is the ideal size for me to handle and drain without struggling due to the weight. I wish we bought something like this sooner instead of just accepting the conditions we were living in.

Excellent product and customer service
I initially received a dehumidifier unit with a noisy compressor that was too loud for use in a small apartment, especially during nighttime. I contacted Waykar customer support, and they responded quickly and professionally throughout the entire process. After troubleshooting, they provided a replacement unit along with a prepaid return label for the defective one. The replacement unit has been working properly and the noise level is significantly better. The dehumidifier removes moisture effectively, is easy to use, and works well for apartment humidity control. I also appreciate that the customer support team stayed responsive and helpful until the issue was resolved. Overall, while I did experience an issue with the original unit, the support experience and replacement process were handled professionally.

Great product! rating 5 stars
My Waykar dehumidifier has been excellent, and I would highly recommend it. It has performed reliably over the past several months without any issues. I especially appreciate its sleek, modern design, ease of use, and low noise level, it’s quiet enough to run in the same room while I sleep without any disturbance. I’ve used it in rooms of various sizes throughout my home, and it consistently performs better than the previous dehumidifier I owned. The customer service was also outstanding. When I had a question after receiving the unit, their team was quick to respond, helpful, and pleasant to work with. Overall, a great product and a very positive experience.

high capacity unit with low fan noise for dampish areas such as basements
This is the third WayKar dehumidifier I have purchased: a 130 pint in 2023 for upstairs, a 120 pint in May of 2025 for downstairs, and this 150 pint in May of 2025 for my mom's basement. This one, the 150 pint, I purchased for my mom's basement, of some 2,400 sq ft, to replace a 80 pint unit from a different brand that failed after about a year. I decided to go with a greater capacity unit with a maximum sq. ft. rating of more than twice the actual sq. ft. area since the basement is a bit on the dampish side. I did not want the unit to be operating continuously but instead to cut on when needed, remove humidity fairly quickly, and then shut off. I use a set point of 55% humidity and a low fan speed setting which seemed to turn the unit on at 65% and off at 45%. The displayed humidity drops fairly quickly when the unit is running. I set up the unit on a small table next to a laundry sink with the included drain hose draining into the sink. I found that the lower piece of the foam packing materials worked perfectly to prevent the unit from rolling about on the table. The incoming air filter on the back of the unit is easy to remove for cleaning. The water collection bucket built into the unit is large but I did not want my mom of 88 years carrying buckets of water up the basement stairs. There are three features that I like about this unit. The first is the included plastic drain pipe which inserts into a drain hole in the back of the unit with a friction fit and does not require a threaded coupling. This was so much easier to install without any leaks especially for my somewhat arthritic hands. The second is the shutter which covers the fan output opening on the top of the unit when the fan is not running. This appears to prevent dust and debris from falling into the unit when the fan is not operating. The third is that with the fan on the low setting, it is fairly quiet, much quieter than the previous unit which may be due to this unit having a squirrel cage fan which is visible through the fan output opening.

Works for Florida Winter warm days
I got the 80 pint size. It has 2 speeds. I found the Low speed quieter and sucks out the water almost as good as the high speed. I have to empty the water about every 12 hrs give or take. The past few days the humidity has been 64-94%. Inside we are at 52% humidity. The unit is set to 50%. It takes some getting use to 52% in Florida on the coast. When the winds are off the ocean the humidity is higher here in the winter. The unit will stop when the water canister is full. A gallon is about all I want to carry so the size is fine for me. All in all it's a big win not having to use the 6,000 watt 4ton AC. With the humidity lower it feels cooler. Maybe that is a Jedi mind trick but the wife seems to think it's cooler. . I might get another for the garage to suck out some of the moisture. I have those Bluetooth humidity meters and the garage runs about 20% higher and outside 15% higher than the garage. I had these little cheapo dehumidifier that coast 60$, they worked but only in small areas like bedrooms. This unit does our whole house. My 4 humidity gauges confirm whole house continuity. I'm glad I purchased it. It does circles around my smaller units.

Segurança no Pós Venda.
O aparelho chegou com avaria, porém recebi o contato da empresa fabricante do aparelho, querendo saber a respeito. E resolveram a situação pra mim. Estou impressionada, pois não é algo que seja praticado no Brasil, realmente a empresa Waykar sabe fazer pós venda. Obrigada.
