CLOSER GOOD, INSTRUCTIONS, NOT SO MUCH
This is a good looking, unobtrusive door closer at a very nice price point. I bought this to replace very noisy, spring loaded hinges on my garage-to-house door. This it does very nicely; no noise and a positive closing.Unfortunately, the installation took much longer than necessary due to inadequate instructions. The instructions have nothing but pictures; several groups of them. It would have been nice if the picture groups were LABELED as to which group went with which type of installation. Written instructions, as well as diagrams, for how to adjust things like closing force, as well as the speed adjustments. Uhh, which way to turn the screws to accomplish what ? English, as well as the metric measurements shown would also be useful. Luckily I had a 6" metric caliper . . .

Surprised
Was surprised was a perfect fit for replacement of old unit. Therefor could use the old hardware installed to connect. With no further adjustment the unit performed perfectly. It use the old style stop to hold open which is suffice. Like that you can open door to full 90 degree.

Perfect replacements
These two were a perfect replacement for the two old worn out "DOOR SLAMMERS" on my storm door. Got tired of the storm door catching my heels as I tried to step into the house before it got me! Nice slow close now that they are installed. Just need a slight turn on the adjustment screw and they work great.

Save your money and time. Cheap and less then light duty.
Save your money, by a different brand from a different seller. There is no lock and the strut is very weak, does not fully close the screen door. And not even close to heavy duty. Cheap and less then light duty.
