MALLOMARS Pure Chocolate Cookies, 8.2 oz

I was hoping that these cookies would be the same as the chocolat "finger" cookies I liked when I was young. They are similar enough in taste that I will buy them again. I'm on my third one now. Can't eat just one. I'm going to send some to friends. Updated review. I ordered 4 more boxes. Three for myself and one for my son. His arrived in good condition. I opened my 1st box tonight. Yikes, very dissapointed. Returning tomorrow. I imagine that it is not Amazon's fault. I mean how would Amazon know when these cookies are bad? I'll still give 5 stars because the return process is painless and they are delicious if they are edible when they arrive. However, I'm reluctant to reorder, but I may order a single box because thery are not available in stores near me. ..... Yes I have to order a single box. Update 10/31/25 . I placed an order for a single box of these cookies. I was notified that I reached my order limit and could not order more. I was unaware that some Amazon products have order limits. Bummer. 2nd Update.Well, these cookies are so good that I took a chanch and ordered another single box. Upon opening this bow, I found that some of the bottoms seperated from the marshmello top. (no pictire) These cookies are quite delicate. I believe that when they were delivered, the carton was dropped on my doorstep as is usually done by shipping companies.But, they were certainly edible. So I just held the pieces together when I ate them. Mmmm, delicious. I will definately order them again. I have no idea what happened to the cookies seen in the photo I provided. Might have been warehoused improperly. ??? I am soo glad that I gave them another try. Definately five star if you overlook the bad ones I received.

Mallomars has always been a favorite of mine! Dark chocolate, soft marshmallow and a soft graham cookie! I could literally eat the whole box! So soft with that slight crunch! Similar taste to a scooter pie from way back in the day!

Love these. I've left them out for Santa since the 1980's.

Since moving to the South, I have not seen these in the grocery stores. I am so glad that Amazon sells them. They are fall/winter snack. You only need a couple after dinner for that "something sweet" craving. They are my favorites. I have ordered these several times with no issues, but the last time, the cookies were not as fresh and were falling apart and the chocolate coating was separating from the cookie and marshmallow.

5 stars for freshness and excellent appearance. All cookies are intact and look good. Marshmallow is fresh, graham bottom is fresh, outer chocolate is fresh. Ships fine. I wish the outer chocolate was more of a true milk chocolate. This has a dark chocolate taste. Not bad, just my preference is milk chocolate. Nice clean treat, doesnt make a mess. Not so sweet that it is cloying.

Mallomars are not easy to find in our grocery stores. This was originally bought as a gag gift but has now become a long standing tradition. They do not melt. And they were left in a car. The taste is good.

First time I have ever ordered and tasted mallomars. So, I wasn't sure what to expect. Visions of moist, chocolatey goodness came to mind. I couldn't wait until I opened the first box and see what mallomars was all about. I was disappointed. Though the expiration date on the box showed "24JAN26," product looked like it was old, no longer fresh. When I opened each of the 2 boxes out of 3 boxes I ordered, the mallomars had dusting of graham cracker granules all over the intetior of the packet, due to many of the mallomars being broken in half. Fortunately, the mallomars tasted okay.
