Good sword
Good looking sword. Dents pretty easy but not a big deal if you know how to fix. Looks good on my wall and whenever i start swinging it around. This was exactly what i was looking for but if you want something more practical i would suggest getting something of better quality.

Beautiful sword
This is a very beautiful piece of steel, for what it is. This is an item more for display than self defense. A real, battle ready Japanese katana would probably set you back a couple thousand dollars at least. That said, I have no doubt that this is potentially a very dangerous weapon. I'm no expert on sword making and I'm not a collector or anything. I just thought this would be cool to have. It's definitely nice to look at. The blade is sharp but not razor sharp. It is fairly lightweight and has good balance.In a perfect world I will never be able to tell you about the combat readiness of this sword, nor am I going to go out and start cutting bamboo and watermelons. Rest assured that if the zombie apocalypse goes down and we still have a civilized society I will come back and update my review, god willing I survive.Comes with a beautifully crafted scabbard and a cloth pouch to wrap it up in. DOES NOT COME WITH A DISPLAY STAND LIKE THE ONE SHOWN IN THE PICTURE. This is mentioned on the product page. A basic display stand would not cost you much and there are many available on Amazon. Obviously you'll want to keep this out of the reach of young children.
