Kraft Cheez Whiz Original Cheese Dip, 15 oz (pack of 3)

Cheez Whiz. Growing up in the Philly area and also being a big fan of cheesesteaks, there was only one way to order a cheesesteak: “Whiz, wit”. ) Translation for anyone who hasn’t hit Pat’s, King of Steaks for one of these bombs, that means “Cheez Whiz with grilled onions”. This past Summer I bought a big flattop for my deck, and I knew that the first thing I wanted to grill would be cheesesteaks. Gotta get some Whiz. So, the stuff looks the same as I remember, melts the same, has that same velveeta sort of unnatural glow to it, and darned if it didn’t work out just fine. Would I want to eat it often? Probably not, but for the occasional cheesesteak, heck yeah! I just stick it in a small cast iron pot to warm up while I cook up the rest of the mess. Whiz wit!

For some reason our local stores stopped carrying Cheez Whiz. It is the best for making nachos. Yum!

I coule only find it here not in grocery store and I use it for a broccoli rice casserole it spreads easy when warmed and you get a cheesy taste in every bite

This is very good in chicken wraps, and on roast beef sandwiches

Cheez Whiz has slowly become somewhat less cheese and more like a conglomeration of oils, whey and other ingredients. I remember perhaps 20-25 years ago the ingredients included "swiss cheese, cheddar cheese, muenster cheese, etc. No longer. Its consistency is more like a dip and less like a spread, and the flavor is bland.
