Intex 3000 GPH Above Ground Pool Sand Filter Pump and Automatic Pool Vacuum

The sand filter has changed my life. So easy to set up and I use a 10th of the chemicals I used to use to keep the pool clean and balanced. The vacuum is also easy to use and does a decent job. Stirs up a lot of stuff since it moves by water propulsion. But I throw it in for an hour and it saves me time from having to pole vacuum it.

Very happy with the pump system. If you have a cartridge system I would recommend upgrading to one of these. The sand is supposed to last up to five years. It has very good suction and the vacuum seems to be working very well. We have an 18 foot by 4 foot deep circular pool and this is perfect for our size pool.

Great pump but price was a little high. Company issued a partial refund but then lowered the price over a $100 less than I paid. Works well however and has saved my lots of time and headaches.

This filter pump does not disappoint. I needed something for my above ground pool that actually moves the water and filters without constantly having to change the filter. This sand filter system does all of that! Once you set this thing up, you really don't have to do anything. I am sure I will have to clean the sand at some point, but so far it has been easy to use. The vacuum, on the other hand, is not so great. Well, I really don't know how great because the included hose comes apart every time the pump turns on. The hose is like a collapsible hose that comes apart too easily for the pressure of the pump, so I have yet been able to use the vacuum. And finding a tougher hose to use has been very difficult.

Amazing!!! Was having difficulties getting pool clean with pump that came with it. This filter helped get it crystal clear. So glad we invested in it. The vacuum was very helpful as well.
