Flashing p on the heating pad. apparently, this indicates it has gone into a protected mode. Solution: Please switch the electric blanket OFF using the controller and remove the power plug from the power socket. Disconnect and reconnect the power connector to the power inlet. Plug the power plug back into the power socket and switch the controller ON. Hope this help you out. Seems you have to actually disconnect everything, both disconnect plug from electric socket and disconnect cord from the pad itself. Wait a few minutes and connect all back again. Hope that works for you
