If you are like me you have, literally, dozens of hex bits. Mine were mostly stored in rubber holders that accommodate 6-10 bits each and require two hands to get the bits out. I decided to order this set of magnetic holders and I now have my bits organized by type (star, square, phillips, etc). I can just grab the entire tray if I'm working away from my bench. The bits stay in securely, I held the tray upside down and shook it (not too vigorously but enough to test) and not a single bit fell out, but they are easily removed.Well worth the $14, I happily recommend.

I really need to ditch some tips but... How do I do that?First I had to line them all up to see what I have. Thought about drilling a bunch of holes in rows but decided it would look tacky and take up lots of room. I actually searched for this item and this is what I found.I like it. I have bought two pairs and they are full but I haven't thrown many tips away yet.I like that the holes are not too tight and the tips are held by the magnet base, which also will stick it to metal surfaces.I'm the dad who gives tools at holiday. Maybe I am buying more.

Great to have in a tool box to organize different bits. Magnet works great to hold down organizer and keep bits secure.

Nice little bit holder for the money. Works nicely on a tool cart. Holes could be just a little bit further apart as nut drivers hit each other.

Although it functions keep it upright or get a stronger magnet on the back not ideal for transport.

I wanted this to hold hex bits but in a toolkit out on the go (portable bike repair kit), so wanted something to keep the bits securely held in, unfortunately the magnet strength for each hex bit is weak. It'll do fine holding it upside but any slight force to shake it will knock it loose. That said, if you have a magnetic work surface or item you want to put this onto, it'll hold very well. A lot stronger than that of the hex bits, so if you want quick access to bits without fighting to get them out this will work well for you, but if you intend to use it for the reverse situation look for something else.I tried reversing the magnet to see if it will invert the holding strength but it remained the same. It's probably the large area of the base that helps give it a strong hold but for such a thin area as the bits, not strong enough.Also be aware that if your bits are larger than 6mm, in my case a 6mm hex shank for a 8mm hex/allen bit, the shank was too short or the upper half too large to go in fully that it wasn't even able to touch the magnetic base and would drop out right away when turned upside down.

Preis und Leistung für diesen Artikel finde ich passend. Hilft enorm beim sortieren der verschiedenen Bit`s. Kein Caos mehr in einer Schachtel. Der Magnet zieht den Bit beim einstecken leicht in die vorhandene Bohrung- das ist sehr praktisch. Durch die Draufsicht finde ich die gewünschte Bit Größe und Ausführung viel schneller. Also meiner Meinung nach sehr Empfehlenswert wenn ich mit vielen verschiedenen Größen und Ausführungen arbeiten muss.

Keeps bits all in one place and not rolling around in tool box

Very handy and convenient. Holds the bits securely and the base has strong magmatism so its stored easily and you can pop it under the bonnet somewhere when working and not knocking it in the floor.
