Great addition to stews and soups
If you want to bulk up your stews and soups, AND are low oxalate, this is a great addition. They really don't have a taste, but thicken things nicely. My suggestion would be to break it apart or cut it into shorter pieces before you toss it in the stew or soup.

These are so easy to use! I mostly use them with stir fry or soups. They absorb the flavors, but mostly it's the texture that is perfect!
