Large Turtle Tank

I read the reviews and like others, mine didn’t come with a light, but that’s fine since I’m using my own light source. There was no damage to the enclosure and everything is as should be. I got the XL. Out of the box, I got this setup for a hatchling Chinese Box Turtle which is a terrestrial turtle for the most part but is more aquatic in hatchling stages. Good water area and useable land area. What I did: I knew I had to do somebody things to make this t the right setup. I cut the sponge for the pump in half and got carbon media to help with filtration. I also added an aerator. I added a background to the walls and added some live plants (spider plant and moss) for natural humidity. I have plexiglass covers to seal in the humidity and hole for the basking lamp. This setup is not a great setup for fully aquatic turtles and definitely nothing more than a hatchling. But for my needs it works great. It is temporary for maybe 1 year, but by no means should a subadult or adult turtle be housed in this for their permanent enclosure. So great for specific needs but not great for a long term housing solution for any turtle.

We bought this for our baby musk turtle, which is about the size of a quarter currently. It works perfectly for him with about 3 gallons of water added. I used distilled water to make sure there was no chlorine. It is easy to clean with the lift away tray design. The filter seems to be sufficient. I like the fact that I can put the heating element (which you ABSOLUTELY need for a turtle!) and the thermometer in the bottom try with the cords coming out the side, so those are hidden and do not detract from the natural environment.

Came with a little part broken but nothing big. Is really good and my little turtles looks great and they new home

It was perfect for the baby turtle. It's real easy to clean oppose to regular tanks the turtle has the choice to be in the water or on land. Just make sure you purchase the lamp and light separately.

It looks nice and somewhat easy to clean. Definitely not worth the price for a couple of reasons 1- The pump doesnt filter anything. Its just a bubbler basically. 2- The photos are misleading. It DOES NOT come with a lamp. So by the time you get lamp, you might as well just get an aquarium, filter and pump separately, it will be cheaper and have better quality environment for your turtle.

Although I know eventually I have to replace the tank for a deep conventional one, as she is getting bigger. Turtles can poop like crazy so this concept is ideal! My Floridian cooter tries to escape everyday but is far from successful. We stopped feeding her in the tank because it gets real yucky in there when you open it up. We place her in a large bowl for feeding daily, in the attempt to keep her tank cleaner. We clean it once a week at minimum. I just replaced the filter because the one that’s built in (Altho is mostly functional) it seems that the gunk keeps clogging it, so it doesn’t flow steady all the time. Besides, I wanted to get her a rainfall and this filter is pretty decent, and doesn’t compromise the space too much! Everything in this pic (except the turtle) is from Amazon (the tank, the filter, the rocks, and the artificial cherry tree). The artificial plants come with the tank and she used to “levitate” on them when she was smaller.

States on page should come with a light but it did not, also came with the smallest amount of gravel that the package broke on and was all over the inside of the box.

DO NOT BUY THIS OVERPRICED RUBBISH. The pictures online look like this would be an amazing habitat for a turtle. It is anything but! The depth of the water is only an inch or so, and the product quality is extremely poor. The pump did not work on arrival, all instructions are very poor translations, all product marking are in Chinese and the product is overall made from very cheap plastic. If this was a cheap $5 item you could accept it for what it is, however at the price paid it is a total and utter scam.

The product description had no details on water pump voltage. There should be a warning for Australian consumers that it is 110 volt and requires the separate purchase of an expensive transformer.

Ama 1 hafta geçti ve mail veya mesaj gelmedi. Hiç bir şekilde yardım alamiyoruz ürün ile ilgili olarak.
