I bought a set of 4-inch lights but the cord from the included junction box was literally 6 inches. I bought these because I also wanted more light. I am so glad I did. They fit perfectly in my drop ceiling panels after I cut the hole with a hole saw. I mounted the tile and there was an adequate length of cord from the junction box for me to hook up the like and insert the light into the hole. They dim very well too with a Lutron LED dimmer.

Good for the price. Easy to install.

My wife and I love these lights. The 6000k color is very nice. My kitchen, nook, library, living room, laundry room and dining room is all with these lights. I could not use these in these in the garage since the junction box is not designed to withstand the attic temperatures in summer. They do have one that has a better junction box but that only comes in 3 color setting and it does not reach 6000k:(. But for inside the house in first floor, awesome lights..

I purchased the set lights 12/2017. Installation was easy, I went from having 3 regular bulbs in my garage, to having 10 of these recessed lights, and they are bright and beautiful! I opted for the 6000k daylight version, and they are so close to real light that I often go into the garage and think I must have left the overhead doors open because it really seems like daylight in there.That was the good. Now the bad. They felt a little flimsy, and within a year 4 out of 10 had started flickering. Some were like a constant strobe light, others just a more intermittent flicker. When I pulled them out for inspection, I noticed that the transformer had overheated and melted through the plastic. On all of them, to various degrees. This is very disconcerting. The transformer is not in a protected box, it's just sitting on top of the drywall, or in direct contact with wood framing. They weren't overly hot to the touch, but clearly hot enough to melt the plastic. I was very concerned about a fire hazard. Though my house is insured for more than it's worth, I am not interested in burning it to the ground.I contacted Brillihood and explained my concern. They agreed to sent out replacements immediately. Initially they only sent 1, but upon further explanation sent out a new 10-pack.The NEW lights are different. They carry Brillihood branding, not generic packaging like the first ones. They appear to be higher quality, at least more substantial and stronger, improving on some design elements. The transformer has been redesigned, and hopefully they have eliminated the heat problem.I've included pictures - the old one on the left, and the new one on the right.If you have flickering issues, I would encourage you to immediately check your lights, and contact Brillihood for a replacement. Assuming these new ones are reliable, they are 5 star lights and look as good as any others I have seen, used, or installed for clients. If they had been reluctant to correct the issue with the old lights, I would have only given them 1 star. But since they provided a quick replacement, I only took off 1 star, and hope that the new design performs as good as it looks.Update: 12 months after installing the replacements, they have not experienced any flickering. Brillihood also has a new version for 2020 with a metal driver box that would alleviate any overheating concerns. An added bonus is the adjustable color temperature!

Easy installation. Could not find these particular lights anywhere except Amazon.

Easy to install and really bright. Nothing special. Theyre just LED lights. However, this product consistently only lasts up to 2 years. Had to replace all my lights after those 2 years. Beware.

Everyone that buys these needs to review the risks of using them. In Europe there is a fire hazard due to by-pass shorting. The converter box to 12 volts is sloppy and needs to be looked at. I took each box apart and elec. taped the wires apart to ensure there is no shorting. As well, I ensured there is nothing on top of the lights in my attic an put domes over each light.These are bright, morning toned lights. I installed them as my wife's Christmas present. She is a fan.

Well done Brillihood, you re my Amazon market place company of the year. I give you 5 Star because you've earn it. More than what I expected. I went to Home Depot and Lowe's to to buy recesse / pot light but I left there empty because of pricing. I needed 40 lights and was reluctant to buy them on Amazon because I got ripped off by a tankless hot water company who sent me a dead product. The price of $79.99 cad was right. The package arrived in 3 days of ordering. It took me just few seconds to test one and to my surprise it's is so bright, I couldn't believe my eyes. The light is well designed and easy to install. I recommend it because I'm a very happy customer.
